How to become an officer in a guild quickly

i guess being polite is the only way to get ranked up in your guild and however annoying it may be you should always help the noobs in the guild if someone asks for example where can i buy rune of teleportion dont laugh just show them it always works with me running the lvl 15's through DM and stuff

Or if your in a guild where you have to raid to get up in ranks, like mine, it wont work. and this wont work either, i have been a guild leader of a good guild, Most leaders are not that dumb to promote you. And you should be nice to them anyways because its a new guild.
