How to update WoW to any patch from 1.5 on.

Alright, it's fairly obvious (As is everything that I have ever posted on this forum) that you just need to download the patches separately from a mirror site.

Unfortunately, a lot of mirror sites require that you have an active membership, some in which you have to pay.

There are a few sites (such as filefront.com) that give them to you for free.
But I went to filefront, and I got the hell confused out of me.

So, I persevered and downloaded all of the required patches from 1.5.0 all the way to 2.4.2.

There is only one patch that I did not get, it was the one to go from 1.7.0 [6471] to 1.12.0 [5595], which I had to get from the WoW updater.

I just thought that someone might like to not have to download all of the patches, and then update your wow.

So, I skipped one step.
Good job eh?

Anyways, I have to find my CD that I burned them onto, and then I shall upload them to the interwebs and give y'all a link to get them.

How about you use Xfire and it will get you all the patches in a jiffy.

I have been looking almost all day long, there is no patch to get from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1
Apparently, it just never existed.
