Trade money between horde and ally on same server

Since someone wants me to post it again...



1) Take both your horde and ally characters to the neutral auction house in Gadgetzan or Booty Bay.
2) Sell some useless item for X amount of money.
3) Buy with your other toon. (The rich one)
4) Poor toon makes 0.7X due to AH share of transaction (where does this money go...)
5) If you don't like the post, STFU





** A more efficent method, as pointed out by Mordo:

1) Sell valuable items (primals nethers, etc.) to your poor toon for 1 copper via neutral AH
2) Sell these in the regular AH for a regular price
3) /dance the night away

lol despite the 30% or so Auction House cut, so trade 1000g over and get 700g, pro. Or what you can do is ask people on forums to trade the gold if they have an alliance toon and horde on the same realm.

You can also buy an item on alliance AH that is priced the same or higher on horde AH and trade that item via neutral AH for 1 copper, then resell on horde via trade or AH.
Saves those 30% ah cut
Do it on times when there is low population and use ts/vent to time it.

why need 2 acc? as far as i know is that all you need is a horde and a alliance on the same realm, but it can onlu be done on non-pvp serveres ^^

unless they have changed it this will only work if you have two accounts. last time i tried it i got an error message saying you cant buy items from your own characters.

I think Bjorn is right. Unless they have very recently changed this, as in 2.4 recent, you can't buy your own character's auctions through a neutral AH.
