[Guide] How to get 2.5k (5k with rested) exp from elite all by yourself @ Nagrand

I didn't really look on forums to search for this kind of post so let's hope it ain't repost.

As start you need some kind of kite class/dot class(spriest/lock), hunter and shaman will also go for it.

You'll be killing those Engineers at the camp

If you full these reqs go to Forge Camp hate in nagrand and find this spot

Clear those mobs around that pillar.

You can pull mobs from 2 different places:

And use pillar as kite isntrument

and then just run rooooound and rooooooooooound until mob gets killed and tha-daa! You just gained 2.5k exp :d

And im sorry about these "only-urls", I didn't got those images showing directly at forums :/ Dunno why =D Hope you get clear picture what is happening here.

Btw, those little tinkerers around that pillar have quite fast respawntime so watch out for them coz they can ruind your kite thingy ;<

Wonder if it just isn't faster to simply grind normal mobs? :P
Takes a while to kill an elite, Right?

With full rested XP, my ret paladin can kill a normal mob for about 1000XP in Nagrand at level 67.

This takes roughly 20-30 seconds per mob to kill.
This means you get roughly 2000-3000XP per minute if you get a good grinding groove going.
This equates to roughly 120,000XP and hour or 150,000XP an hour with full rested XP. Half that with no rested XP.

If these mobs take 3 minutes to kill, you get 1,670 XP a minute.
If these mobs take 2 minutes to kill, you get 2,500 XP a minute.

Don't forget, these numbers are entirely estimated assuming you are non stop grinding one after another with no breaks in between.

I just took time with my priest and eggtimer showed 49sec, this is the time it took me to kill that elite.
