Tons of Thick and Rugged leather

Alright- While I was lvling my hunter and camping for a rare spawn to tame, I came upon an extremely nice spot for rugged and thick leather.

In un goro crater there is a cave called Fungal Rock( 63,16)- Where there are 3 types of gorillas that have a 50% chance to drop either Rugged, Or thick leather.

They have good respawn times, and after an hour of just killing stuff, my bags were stuffed with leather. And, I don't know if it's just me, but lately on the 3 servers I play on regularly, basic mats have increased in prices. Not sure if it's because of the recent glider banwave( Hah! Even more proof that botters keep things cheap) but rugged leather went from 3g per stack to about 15 gold per stack, and thick went from 2g per stack to 10g. Quite a huge inflation. This made me a lot of money, around 500 gold+ from staying here and grinding from 52-55. It also got my LWing from 230ish-290ish.

There are a few quests here as well.

And, this has a chance to drop which is another quest A Mangled Journal - Item - World of Warcraft

There is also a rare spawn, that's an extremely unique skin for gorilla's for you hunters that like to tame unique pets.

Uhk'loc - NPC - World of Warcraft He has white fur and blue skin.

I killed him quite a bit while lving there, and tamed him once, he seems to have about an 8 hour respawn time.

One last tip, these guys like to call for help when they're low on health. So classes that don't handle adds to well, beware.

You should be around 52-54 and you should do fine =)

You should be fine at 50, It'll be tricky though, I suggest staying outside the cave. But once you're 51 or 52, go ahead on in.

You can also get loads at the yeti cave in feralas. They usually respawn after you killed the last one.
