How to type your password safely

On the subject of keyloggers, etc.... do any of them record what is copied and pasted on your clipboard? For example if you had your password saved in an inconspicuous text document, and then you copy and paste it into the password field, to avoid having to actually type it. This is also good for credit card information, etc. just in case you're worried about the possibility of having a keylogger or something similar.

I think many record when it is copied or pasted.

I'm surprised this thread even got this much attention.

Well, I know that scanning your PC is the smartest thing to do,
however, anti virus programs does mistakes too.
You are most likely safe 98% of the times you log onto WoW,
but there is nothing wrong with a little bit extra security, is it?
