    General Guide to leveling casually

So i finished my 4th 70 recently and it was a breeze took me little under a month to do and was actually fun and it didn't feel like a grind. So i thought to my self with all those leveling guides and leveling bots why don't i just post a casual leveling guide to help people get the general idea of how to level up at a decent rate.

First thing i want to discuss is addons, you should have quest helper or, personally i like carbonite quest more. With these addons you can speed up your leveling to be very fast. the rest of the addons are optional.
-Auctioneer highly reccomended for selling your greens
-Bagon or a nother addons that makes ur bags all one big bag so you dont have to sort through your bags.

The second thing i want to discuss is professions for leveling. I suggest you get enchanting and skinning, my reasoning for this is that you dont want to waste time mining or picking herbs. With skinning you skin what you kill and you disenchant the greens you find. Enchanting is optional I personally just use skinning.

Third thing to do before you start make a bank alt and plant him in a major city. You will use this character to sell your mats and items you collect while leveling and use him/her to scan the auction house.

Since i just brushed on it I want to warn you that the auction house is bad when your leveling and you should most of the time never buy items off here. The only exception is wands and maybe bows since there not very easy to obtain in the earlier levels. But then again the ah is your best friend because selling all your skin plus cloth ( dont level first aid unless your a melee class or a class that cannot heal its self.) and any other items. Never discount an item just cause if its white quality. Light feathers are great example they sell pretty good and drop from alot of low lvl mobs that have feathers and is a white item.

Now the most important part of leveling is to use your resources, my biggest resource is to wowwiki.com its great i usually use it at lvl 1 to find a good spec by typing in the search "*class* builds" where you put your class name in the *class* part. they usually have a leveling build all ready setup.

Now onto the part where you are actually leveling. what I do is grab all the quest for that zone complete them and continue to do the rest of the quest in the zone until i hit red or orange quest then i go to the next zone thats level appropriate. for example say you start out in tanaris and do alot of the quest then you start to hit some of those red quest and are feeling weak compared to the mobs, well then you need to go to another lvl 40-50 zone such as feralas, hinterlands, STV,...etc.Continue this cycle and you will never be quest less.

Another great tip is to run instances at peak hours and to get items to help you level easier. But to never rely on instances to level you up. While some instances are great for leveling namely SM, most instances wont give you alot of exp and theres a high chance of getting a bad pug which will result in poor xp per hour.

Those are my majors tips to increase leveling and decrease downtime, so now i am going to list some of the general tips.
-Don't always get your skills every 2 levels especially for healing classes, some levels all you'll get is an increased rank of the healing spell and it waste alot of time going to a major town and back to your leveling area.
-Never Ever group quest unless it is a group quest, group questing is fun and does burn time but your really hurting your xp per hour by doing it.
-when running a long distance if the mobs are level appropriate grind them as your head to your destination.
    - When you ding 58 Get your skills and head to outlands the quest reward significantly more exp then in azeroth.
-Keep Away From BG's Pre 70 there a waste of time.
-My last tip is to find something thats a good distraction from wow but still allows you to focus, the point of this is to get the edge off the whole leveling thing and make it seem like you just hanging out. I personally listen to streaming radio from winamp or wcradio.com.

If theres any other questions or additions that need to be made feel free to post them and ill add them and credit you to the tips. I want to say that this is not a guide that you follow to level but tips rather to help you level faster and help you come out with a decent amount of money at 70 not enough for epic flyer but ive had around 2-3k when i dinged 70 on 3 out of my 4 70's with just skinning. Best of luck to you all and happy leveling.

nice to type it all out, but you basically told me to:
    1. Get lots of quests
    2. Do lots of quests
    3. Don't do orange or red quests
    4. Go somewhere else for quests when i run out.
    common sense sorry mate

Hey - I like your guide, however you should try improving it by adding at least a colour or two.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I prefer Questhelper - fast, and easy
