    Hallow's End Guide

I know this is over, but there is always next year. Sorry this came a bit late.

Guide To Hallow’s End (Halloween In World of Warcraft)
    October 18-31
    Trick or treat at innkeepers

Talk to any innkeeper and select "trick or treat".

Rewards: Either (randomly) a Treat bag or a debuff that changes you into another form, a snake for example, for a short time. You also get a 60 minute preventing you from tricking or treating an innkeeper again for the duration. The debuff timer does count down when you are logged out. Open the treat bag before you log out or it disappears.

At inkeepers you can also pick up some bobbing apples from the apple bobs. Nothing remarkable, but it’s free.
    Candy

One of the lesser attractions is buying special Hallow’s End candy, which works like regular food, from certain vendors in Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

    Bellara’s Nutterbar
    Moonbrook Riot Taffy
    Styleen’s Sour Suckerpop
Tigule and Foror’s Strawberry Ice Cream

    Alliance Quests

    * "Hallow’s End Treats for Jesper!" Starts from Jesper.

Do the following in any order: Go to Innkeeper Allison and accept and do the quest "Flexing for Nougat". Just target her and type /flex. Accept "Chicken Clucking for a Mint" from Innkeeper Firebrew and do it. /chicken on him to complete.Accept, do, and turn in "Incoming Gumdrop" from Talvash del Kissel in Ironforge. /train on him to complete. Accept, do, and turn in "Dancing for Marzipan" from Innkeeper Saelienne. /dance on her to complete.

Then return to Jesper and turn in "Hallow’s End Treats for Jesper!" and get your rewards, which are some silver and Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat.

Once you have completed the orphan quest, you can purchase Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat from Katrina Shimmerstar. It grants various fun buffs that change your appearance.

    * "Costumed Orphan Matron" starts from NPCs outside the bank in either Stormwind, Ironforge or Exodar. To complete it, go find a costumed orphan matron in either Goldshire in Elwynn Forest, Kharanos in Dun Morogh, or Azure Watch on Azuremust Isle. You will get some reputation with Stormwind, Ironforge or Exodar respectively for turning it in. Completing this quest opens up the following from the costumed orphan matron…
    * "Fire Brigade Practice" can be done once, in either Goldshire in Elwynn Forest, Kharanos in Dun Morogh, or Azure Watch on Azuremust Isle. Just follow the instructions in the quest and go to the practice fires and throw buckets of water on them from the water barrel nearby. You get some reputation for doing this.

    Sergeant Hartman starts:

    * "The Power of Pine" This requires you to wait for horde players to plant a stink bomb (they have a quest to do so during Hallow’s End) and then clean it up with the item provided by the quest giver. So try to do this the first days of the holiday when most hordes are doing their quest. Otherwise you’ll have to be patient and try to wait during peak hours.
    * "Crashing The Wickerman Festival". Just run to 56.69 in Tirisfal Glades (it’s on the road west of Undercity). Go close to the hay statue and you’re done. Can be hard for a lowbie, since it’s guarded by level 60 elites (you don’t have to kill them though).

    Horde Quests

    * Hallow’s End Treats for Spoops! starts from Spoops.

Do the following in any order: Accept, do, and turn in "Flexing For Nougat" from Innkeeper Gryshka. /flex on her to complete. Accept, do, and turn in "Incoming Gumdrop" from Kali Remik. /train on him to complete. Accept, do, and turn in "Chicken Clucking for a Mint" from Innkeeper Norman. /chicken on him to complete. Accept, do, and turn in "Dancing For Marzipan" from Innkeeper Pala. /dance on him to complete.

Return to Spoops and turn in Hallow’s End Treats for Spoops! and get some silver and Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat.

Once you have completed the orphan quest, you can purchase Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat from Rachelle Gothena. It grants various fun buffs that change your appearance.

    * "Masked Orphan Matron" starts from commoners in the major horde cities and is completed at a Masked Orphan Matron NPC in either Razor Hill in Durotar, Brill in Tirisfal Glades, or Falconwing Square in Eversong Woods (it’s in the Ruins of Silvermoon). It rewards 75 reputation with the city you complete it at. The follow-up quest is…
    * "Fire Training". Rewards some reputation and Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat.

    Darkcaller Yanka starts:

    * "Stinking Up Southshore" Just go to Southshore in Hillsbrad Foothills and plant 3 stink bombs anywhere in the center of town. Can be hard for a lowbie with all the level 45 guards spawning indefinitely
    * "Rotten Eggs" Do this together with "Stinking Up Southshore". Go into the inn and click the top beer keg in the pyramid next to the stairs leading to the 2nd floor. Don’t forget to click again to accept the follow up quest which is…
    * "Ruined Kegs" Go back to Darkcaller Yanka and turn this in for some reputation and the usual Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat.

    Headless Horseman Events

Every 4 hours the headless horseman will come to the horde towns Brill, Razorhill, and Falconwing square, and the alliance towns Goldshire, Kharanos, and Azure Watch. They are the same towns where you could do the fire training quests. Once he comes he will set fire to some buildings and you can then pick up a quest from the costumed orphan matron or the masked orphan matron to extinguish the flames. This quest can fail if there aren’t enough people around to put out the flames. If so, just abandon it and try again the next time he comes.

The quest for either side is:

    * "Stop The Fires!". Be sure to smash the pumpkin that appears in the middle of town after successfully completing the event. You will receive Smashed Pumpkin Loot. Complete the quest at the matron for the follow up quests…
    * "The Headless Horseman" which requires level 66 and takes you to the Graveyard wing of Scarlet Monastery. You will see an orange Pumpkin Shrine in the graveyard at which you can turn it in. The follow up quest starts there too and is called…
    * "Call The Headless Horseman" Just accept it and turn it in at the pile of dirt a few yards ahead to summon the Headless Horseman. He drops some nice loot so it’s definitely worth it for a group of level 70s. It’s a daily quest so each person can only summon him once per day.

    The Wickerman Festival

The forsaken (undead) have built a big wickerman west of Undercity (at Darkcaller Yanka) which they burn every night at 8 p.m. There’s nothing more than that, but can be fun to watch once.

Haha thanks Joho. I used to be just like you, really. I would just ask what's going on when I saw the new stuff in the Major Cities. Lol.

I am glad you liked the Guide.
