In Magister's Terrace the magisters have a buff called Enchantment of spell haste. Every time they cast they get magic buff that increases spell casting speed by 10% and stacking up to 20 times (although it would be hard for them to cast that much before they die). Mages can spellsteal this buff 20 times and get 200% haste, but to do that you would have to have nobody dpsing and it just hitting the tank for a while. I wouldn't recomend doing this unless its on the pull RIGHT before the priestess boss (third boss), because it would be a waste anywhere else. If you have a mage get 20 stacks of it then pull the third boss quick you can NUKE down the bosses quick spamming a 1 second pyroblast or how ever fast it would be, making the third boss realy easy for bad groups, or groups without pvp gear. You might even be able to kill the priestess before she gets to you.

I had a long post written before the stupid forums deleted it when it made me sign in again. But here is the summary:

Good idea, but with this method you could only kill 1 or 2 of the mobs. Assuming you don't get feared/stunned/interrupted right away.

20 spellsteal= 9000 mana
pyroblast = 500 mana each= 6000 damage each
5 bosses w/ 30000k health= 150000 health
150000 health/ 6000 damage= 25 pyros
25 pyros x 500 mana = 12500 mana

That is just too much, especially because you cant drink (the haste buff only lasts 30 seconds).

A better tactic might be to steal only 10 spell hastes, and a seal of wrath. Then use arcane missile to pump out the damage.

You'll also go OOM a lot faster ... even just by constantly spellstealing it to stack ..

if you didn't know, pyroblast doesn't cost much mana. You could use mana gems/pots/evocation to not run oom on spellstealing. You could do insane dps with like 5 stacks.

Spell steal is nothing new.

This is nothing new. I knew this but I don't do it because 1. spellsteal is like 700 mana and 2 by the time you already spellstealed 2 times the magister is dead

Spellsteal is 20% of base mana.
So you'll get 5 stacks before you hit 0 mana.
