Level 4 Characters to 70 in 2 weeks!

Mendo600 here, bringing my guide on group-leveling to MMOwned. I'm doing this right now, so that's why I am writing this.


WHAT THIS GUIDE IS NOT:

• A repost of Athene Powerleveling which was fixed. Athene's method was Pally pulls without damaging the mobs, mage drops group, pally aoe's them down to almost dead and zones out, mage kills them, lowbie gets insane xp. THIS WAS FIXED. My guide is just about a mage/pally pulling a big ol' group of mobs, and AoEing them down, for the lowbies to get XP, not nearly as much mind you, but it is still pretty fast/effortless.

Here's what you need to know about this strategy:

• Requires decently geared 70 Mage or Paladin
• 4 alts (must be on separate accounts or friends characters)
• Hand level from 1-10
• Best done with a group of people so you can talk on vent, and not get bored out of your mind.

This strategy is amazing for groups of friends who want to level characters together, specifically if one is a mage, or a paladin.

General Run-Down on Instance Pulling:

• Take everyone to the correct level instance (found below)
• Mage/Pally runs through and nabs as many mobs as he can take, and pulls them back to the lowbies and AoE's.
• For lower level instances the mage can run through with molten armor, and most of the mobs will just die.
• Rinse/repeat until instance is clear, then zone out, reset, and do it again, until you are ready to move on to the next instance.

This may seem like common sense, but a lot of people don't know that when you have a full group of lowbies and one 70, the xp leech from the 70 is minimal, due to the group bonus. You can level a batch of 4 characters in less than 2 weeks if you are hardcore about it, and it can be a lot of fun!

List of Instances and their Levels to Run:

• Deadmines: 10-16
• The Stockade: 16-22
• Scarlet Monastery: 22-40***
• Zul'Farrak: 40-47
• Maraudon: 47-51
• Blackrock Depths: 51-55
• Stratholme (undead side): 55-58
• Blood Furnace: 58-62
• Slave Pens: 62-65
• Mana-Tombs/Auchenai Crypts/Sethekk Halls: 65-67
• AoE grinding outside of instances is the best from 67-70. I use the Path of Conquest in Shadowmoon Valley, plus you can also make mad amounts of money or rep off of the Scryer Reputation loots.

*** In the Scarlet Monastery I recommend running Cathedral, and then Armory, and then resetting, so you don't hit the 5 instance per hour cap, it works wonders.

I dont think it takes you 2 weeks to level 4 characters to 7. More like a day tops.

Your opinion is hardly humble, and I provide some tips I've learned. Just trying to contribute, there may be people who have never tried this..

I thought that the athenes method was the best and that there was no other to get easier xp without getting a mage AND a paladin. Very good imo you get +rep for me!

I was getting all excited through this thread until your comment. If it has been nerfed is there any powerleveling abilities with a pally left at all? Can you just not run the instances as much?
