[Guide] Character Profiling Sites

Want sites to help you see your gear/stats in the future to help with item decisions? Well there's a few of them. Some are good, some are bad. Here, I'll list them in order of rank from good -> bad.

1. Warcrafter. Definitely the best character profiling site there is. Provides detailed information on damage/healing spell and abilities. Allows complete customization of gear with enchants, gems and armor kits. Pulls data off from Armory. Sandbox tool allows user to enter gear themselves to see the upgrade/downgrade gained.

2. Chardev. Much simpler then Warcrafter, it still has all the functionality plus some that Warcrafter doesn't have such as the more in-depth information on avoidance. Olny thing I have against Chardev is the annoying way to enter gear, as there's no search by name box yet.

3. Magelo. If you've played EQ(EverQuest) then you'd know what magelo is. If you haven't then this is like the wow.allakhazam profiling site but 10x better. Looks aesthetically nice but lacks what warcrafter and chardev have in the theory department.

4. MaxDPS. While not a profiling site, provides good information for dps/healer classes to look at loot ranking. While not 100% correct, it's a good source of information for what may be a *huge* upgrade for you.

5. wow.allakhazam.com - incredilbly outdated database site dwarfed by wowhead, wowdb. Their profiling provides the same uses of magelo but looks crap. Pulls data from live game via addon.

first site is nice, bit tricky to use though, i'm sure it just takes time practicing ^^
