[color="RoyalBlue"]Another important thing to keep in mind is moderation. Yes you can buy out and sell the whole AH back, but if you've got 180 of them, not all of them are gonna sell unless your server has a huge lack of GPEs (which, with the QD dailies, it really shouldn't).

Also, as stated, you need to hit at the right time as well to really capitalize on this.


It's not bannable or anything, because it's a capitalist economy in the game: each item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If someone doesn't wanna pay 15g for a GPE, they won't. They'll sit on their cash and wait for cheaper ones. People to whom price doesn't matter will buy them, if they need them for something, but there are only so many of those on each server.

Controlling the whole AH seems like more pain than it's worth, IMO. Just gotta find your own niche and sit in it.

mm really now? ever do a full ah take over? no i bet you havent. i haveand yes blizzard bans for it cause monopolizing is something they dont like i gotbanned for having the ah in my control for 3 days.
made 20k in profit, half the server was pissed at me cause of the high prices and how i keptbuying out the competition. this baby monopolizing wont get you banned but once you get to the big charts.. becareful (and to clarify and noobs... no i dont buy gold no i dont sell gold and no i didnt scam on that account or server.)

NO they DON'T ban for doing this, they have no right to do it because you are doing NOTHING wrong, this is just how it works in real life.
And no, I don't believe you made 20k in 3 days, why? Because to make 20k gold in 3 days you need to have like 50k gold to start off with, buy out the whole ah, relist everything and have lots of retards to buy them.

For this to work you either have to be very lucky, very smart or on a server with mostly 12 year olds playing. A warlock in my guild plays the ah and only logs on once in like 3 days, he has over 90k gold but he's been doing it for like a year or so.

they DO NOT ban for buying and reselling, don't be so stupid and say that they do, most games work like that & most games have ppl playing the server economies.

That sucks Tank...prospecting is the way to go imo, or buying mats for T5 belts, epic threads and leg patches and selling the finished product for a much higher cost.

And you should probaly try not to go out and waste all your money because someone says you're gonna make a profit in the end =)

I had 2.1k gold when I started, down to 850g and 175 GPEs that I need to sell

I need a new plan.. if I keep my high prices in there for about a week will the price
go up? If so, then I can take them out then undercut the high prices and sell mine

I am going to make a profit no matter what, I bought some of these for 30g a stack.. if I sell them at 7g each, or 70g a stack I'd still be making about 21g :P

Auctioneer is a MUST

CT mail mod is VERY useful but not needed

Instead of having to click one at a time to post an auction, you just put the item in Auctioneer, and click Batch Post Auction "or Batch Auction, can't remember".. but it'll seperate the stack for you and post it one at a time at a certian price

CT mail mod will basically open all of your mail for you and take the item inside the mail, which is also very useful.

Well it's not 400g every 10 minutes, more like 10 minutes of work for 400g.

Not bad guide, but it's just common sense really. It's best to do this on items that are not craftable (e.g. tombs etc) as if someone see's Greater Planar Essences for 15g a piece theyre gonna jump on the band wagon, even if it's a few gold cheaper, they'll still be getting a ton of cash.

It might be better still dealing in your product, Greater Planar Essences, but instead of buying it, making them. Buy greens 2-3g each and thats a Greater Planar Essence. = 5 gold cheaper than you brought it for making a profit of 100% to more like 750%.
