Know excact drop chances [With pics]

Hello! If you are one of those types who likes to grind rares/epics.. Then make it even easier with Navicat for MYSQL 8.0.10 ! :wave:

I have searched and did not find any post. I got this from my 100% pure mind :bigbrain2:

And if you allready have Navicat installed, gr8 for you!

1) Open your newly/old installed Navicat!
2) Then get these SQl text files to execute - Download link
3) Once executed.. (This usualy takes 15-30min)
4) Right click WoWEmu (Note that this is just what i called it) Press open connection.
5) Then right click Ascent (Note that this is just what i called it) Press open database.
6) Now.. Watch image. Double click ''Creatureloot''

7) Now sort the itemID list. (Right click it) Use the ''Sort Ascending''

Go to Thottbot and find whatever item that you want to grind for. (Epics rares etc.)
9) Example: If u want.. Bow of Searing Arrows, seach on that on Thottbot.
10) W8 for Thottbot to find the searched text
11) When its loaded, look at the http at the top of the page.
12) It should be thottbot.com/i2825
13) Copy the ''2825'' wich is the ItemID.
14) Now go to Navicat under the ItemID's ..
15) Find the ItemID: ''2825'' Wich is the item we want to look up, (It should be easy now when its sorted) Note that there are more than one.. Its because it drops from several mobs.
17) It should look like this when found:

1 Look at the drop chances, (Percentchance) Find the highest. Here the highest is 0.2475% drop chance
19) Under the same line.. Look left, there should be something called ''EntryID'' The one for 0.2475% is 2473.
20) Copy the EntryID.
21) open InternetExplorer write Thottbot.com/c[Ur EntryID here] And then hit enter
22) The mob who drops it should appear on Thottbot..
23) Go grind. :wave:

This guide is very good for example.. Making money + grinding pots.
I found 2 epics and 5 rares on 6 hours played time.

Note that it is a good idea to update ur SQL files (The ones that u execute)
after each big WoW patch, now when they change alot in Database

I don't know where Ascent team gets drop percentages, but it's likely to be thottbot/wowhead, so I don't think doing this makes much sense. Also, you can get random world drop epix from any mob in given level range. But you've made a good guide :P

lol, way ezier is this, here is my one sentence guide:
go to armory.worldofwarcraft.com they have item drops percents. srry for Jacking ur thread, and stealing ur thunder

The epic drop thing.. If u are confused.. : Yes they drop from every mob in a specific lvl range. But! The percentages here are the mobs that drops it for sure.
The epic random world drop have a chance like 0.0001%

And why i told u to download those specific files is because they are the exactly blizzlike numbers

I don't get why you rep this, this info can easily be found at WoWhead or thottbot, which is where the guys who made this probably got their droprates. How else would they know which mobs drop what?

M8.. Try look up an epic on Thottbot / WoWhead.. The chances u see are 0.0%... Aye? Here the chances are precise .. completely! :wave:

But you can still calculate it easily, check which mobs it has dropped off, and how many times. See how many times the mob has been looted then calculate by yourself. And why would anyone be grinding mobs for epic items? They would make way more cash farming primals, doing mining or other stuff...
