I Got hacked awhile ago but, it didnt take me long to get money back, and then some. All I had was a 1 hand mace (LEVEL 32) and level 30 sergeants cloak.

First i went farming in VC, i took all the Grey, white and green items, i also took wool. I only when to the goblin room (i kept dieing) I made about 2g a run selling the wool 30s a stack, I just vendored all the items.

After i got a: Helm, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, Boots, Hands and a shield I went to Arathi Highlands and farmed the Orcs there. I made about 2 or 3g and hour, They drop a few greys whites and sumtimes greens, Vendored the items (or used if i needed i used) They also dropped Silk cloth which i sold for 50s each.

This guide isnt the best farming, but it realy helped me restore most the items on my character, btw i did this in 5 hours ( made about 10-12g)

thats alot o_O if thats per cloth at least...

running instances is a good way to get money. i run SFK sometimes (started as 49 warr) in hopes of getting BOE blues but i take what greens and bop blues drop. if need be, put the greens on AH or just vendor everything. gems often drop, which can be sold for quite a bit due to jewel crafting. if youre an enchanter, you can just DE what green+ items drop, or if youre a rogue, open the locked chests in the instance, about 2 locked chests i believe, and 1 more that in unlocked. hope that helps, just as another idea, or for some hordies looking for gold

Yes instances are good to make money but you can make better if you dont vendor things. If i get any greens that are good at all ill sell them in AH. Just put them for more than you'll sell to a vendor. I usally put my stuff just a bit cheaper than the other greens in AH and usually make twice as much as i would if i sold it to a vendor. Poeple do buy them i have put stuff in there i never thought anyone was going to buy and people do. And if it doesnt get sold by the secound or third time you put it in AH just sell it. Also cloths to make aids sell nice, wool cloth is ok but its almost worth farming silk cloth because those can sell nicely.
Ya so my 2 cents instead of vendoring the iteams (only grays and unused whites) put them in AH because people will buy it.
