Blade's Edge Bombing for Dummies: Get your dailies done quick!

Ok, today, I will be discussing Blade's Edge Bombing for Sha'tari Skyguard.. It will be done in 2 parts. Basics, and tips and tricks. First will be the Basics. Now, you may be thinking, Blade's Edge is old now that Sunwell Plateau is out, but getting that extra 48g from the dailies there can never hurt, eh?




Basics of Bombing:
Part I: Flying Around
Flying around on your gryphon, wyvern, dragon, ray, w/e... easy right? WRONG. It requires a certain amount of concentration, and when your dodging exploding cannonballs that want to knock you off your mount. If you survive the fall, guess what's waiting for you? Demons that want to kill you! So, when your flying make sure you concentrate on where your flying,m so you don't fly into an explosion.

Part II: Destroying Cannonballs
Destroying cannonballs is far more difficult than flying, let me tell ya, while destroying cannonballs, the stacks will be marked by a red arrow, similar to Hunter's Mark. Watch where the cannonballs being shot at. Get in relatively close, then throw the bomb onto the cannonballs. Good job! yOU ARE NOW 1/15TH OF THE WAY TO 12G!
Part III: Dodging the Flak Fire
This part is by far the hardest, so I'm going to lay down the basics, there will be two stacks of cannonballs next to every flak cannon. These are your targets, but the cannons don't like you, so they try to shoot you down. The most basic rule for this part is DON'T STOP FLYING if you stop flying, you will be knocked off your mount in a matter of seconds. Try to anticipate the cannonball's path, this will help you greatly, I like going up to an angle, then down to an angle, then flying to the right or left, this makes it hard for the flak fire to hit you, as your going in all directions. Oh! I almost forgot: The second most basic rule for Dodging Flak Fire is NEVER FLY IN A STRAIGHT LINE. If you fly in a straight line, they will shoot in front of you, and you will die. Be constantly changing directions.


Tips and Tricks
1. I usually go to Forge Camp:Wrath, because it is closer to the Skyguard base, plus, I like the layout better than the other one to the south.
2. I like alternating between the two "islands" to the South of the island, as there are less Plague Corruptors around there, and they can be a nuicince.
3. Try to fly lower to the ground, so if you get hit, you won't take much damage from the fall.
4. Pack some band-aids when you bomb. Band-aids will reduce downtime from getting hit by flak fire.
5. Keep in mind that each cannon fires three cannonballs at a time. Two go left and right or any two opposite sides, and the other one aims for where you are when it fires.
6. Also remember that the cannonballs seem to explode at random points in their flight path, so if you really need to, fly into or near them if your gonna get hit anyway.

dude.. you can just go by the bomb, mount up drop the bomb dismount before the flak even goes off, thats like teaching a retard to not run into a wall, It doesn't happen very often.. Common sense before posting please. thanks

Funny I take a much easier route with Kmart flying mount.

1. Run on foot up to target
2. mount on Kmart flying mount
3. throw bomb as soon as I am mounted.
4. dismount.

Never got hit with a fireball thingy.

The respawn is fast enough that I just keep to the same target mound. Clear other quest in that area while doing the bombing.

I find it alot easier and most times quicker. Once you get epic mount just roll your face on keyboard and WIN.
