    Darkmoon Faire - AFK Guide (AutoIT UPDATED)

    UPDATED (MAY 7, 200
    Random Processes AND Clicking
    Original Thread: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...-10k-gold.html

    "Coiso" AWESOME JOB on this so far for sure. I am in no way taking this as an original guide completely. Before attempting my setup read his thread on how to get things going because I will not be repeating it here.

    -What my script does-

    Instead of having to get autohotkey and mess with scripting and running different apps to get coords, I combined it all into one easy program.

    NOTE: There is no GUI yet and issues I may have overlooked

    AutoIT Updated Guide:

    NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED AUTOIT TO USE THIS.

    This is my very first time working AutoIT so bare with me, I worked all day bored at the office with this learning the code.

    Things you will need:
    -FreeRefills (From Coiso's guide)
    -My autoIT script

    1. Download FreeRefills
    2. Download "DarkMoon_03", the attached file below.
    Note: I can upload to filebeam again if needed.

    For instructions on setting up FreeRefills check Coiso's guide.

    DarkMoon Setup:

    Unzip the file and check out the "README". It gives specific instructions on the setup, its super easy.

    Code:
    Name: Darkmoon AutoClicker
    Author: Garoboldy
    AutoIt Version : Beta

    This is a simple AutoIT script for farming the DF NPC's outside of Shatt.

    -KEYS-
    =============
    F1 = START
    F2 = PAUSE
    F3 = EXIT
    F6 = SET LHARA COORDINATES RANGE
    F7 = SET PALEO COORDINATES RANGE
    F8 = SET PALEO "BROWSE GOODS" TEXT COORDINATES
    =============

    Instructions:

    1. Start WoW and proceed to the Darkmoon Faire outside of Shatt.
    2. Position yourself between and behind the NPC's, preferably standing on the "ORB" behind them.
       Be sure to hit "SHIFT+V" to bring up nameplates for both of them.
    3. Start the Darkmoon.exe file.
    4. Push F6 and follow pop up instructions
    5. Push F7 and follow pop up instructions
    6. Talk to Paleo, Push F8 and follow pop up instructions

    Note: These coordinates are saved for you so if you log out and log back in at the same location, you should
    be ok with using them again. IF not just repeat 4-6 to update them.

    7. Hit F1 and it should now be running.
    7a. Hit F2 to Pause the program.
    8. Hit F3 to Exit the script.

    If you find any bugs/issues or want anything added contact me at [email protected] or post on the forums.
    Thats all there is to it

    I've tried to simulate bugs and error checking, but I'm sure there will be something wrong with it somewhere. So please let me know of any issues or things you would think I could do better.

    I really hope this helps some people that may not want to install autohotkey or are having trouble with editing scripts.

    Updates will be posted here as I make them.

    65 views and no replies? Feedback is a good thing

    Ran this again last night with no issues. I only got 10 Fel Lotus along with the rest of the items so that was disappointing but theres always the rest of this week.

    I did NOT put in background support. I'll add that after lunch when I get back to the office. Should be about an hour or so.

    This is a cleaner version compared to the autohotkey setup. Its much easier to use and simple for anyone that doesn't want to edit scripts.

    Is it moving it inside the wow window? And if so is it hovering over the npc spots that you selected?

    It looks like the coordinates might be off but it is doing the right pattern. I am on Vista if that matters. It won't move if WoW is focused.

    Got it. Ran the program compatible to Windows XP and set it as Admin. Thanks :P +rep

    edit: If you can get it so the process name changes randomly, that would be awesome. DarkMoon.exe is a little suspicious :P

    I have coded it and tried it on a test window in Vista. BUT not in wow on Vista. Thank you for the information on this, I'll have to find out why it was giving you issues without xp compatible.

    Let me know if you have any other issues.

    Its going to be longer than this afternoon before I can see about background support. Coding on a Vista machine at work and its not liking my DLLCalls to manipulate inactive windows.

    Bare with me.
