Actually i got a little bit of rep from this. Honestly, i was not expecting this. This was just supposed to be a shameless rant. Yes,this post is useless, it isnt really meant to be a guide more like a rant to tell people to stop saying thanks and jjust give rep.

I think this is just posted for a more.. symbolic reason, and not really "how to give rep", but "give rep to people who contribute and stop saying just thanks".

If someone who contributes and don't get rep for their effort, why would they wanna contribute again?
