    [info] Warden

Those are some info that might be usefull when using hacks , or writing a new one .

Everthing am going to write in here is based on my own experience , either from Warden or any other kind of Gaming Security softwares . So am going to talk in general about the gaming security softwares , and how to stop them from detecting your hacks .

If you expect me to feed you with a spoon and give you the way to shut down warden or any other security program then please leave , because all am writing in here is the info not the method .

Lets start by " What do you mean by gaming security software ? "

Gaming security softwares are programs that are used for the sake of keeping the game clean from hacks to avoid hackers from ruining the game mechanics and to keep the game in one piece , in other words , it helps keeping both client and server side working as intended .

Can you get into the subject and tell us how does those programs functions ?

ok ok , its not simple , but its not complix too , I'll explain it in a very noobish way , so that the majority of you would understand it .

There are many ways for those programs to get you , and everytime a new way comes to bypass warden , it gets updated , so dont ever depend on a new method , and never think its going to last .

This is how those program works :

it usually starts before the game it self , checking if there is anything that is trying to get attached to the process it self , for example a debugger , or another global hooks .

During the game phase , it starts a global hook by it self getting information about other process in your pc , it does that by injecting a dll into every process that runs on your pc and scan into it looking for specific stuffs that are saved into warden memory and check if its viloating the rules by any way .

It also has some kind of priority into some hacks , through Window name , the window name thing works as the following , it gives priority on the scan to a process that holds a detected window title , like some trainers that holds the name of " wow hack " .

It would also detect any change in the game memory it self , or any kind of packet playing ;;;;;; in this case , warden doesnt always ban directly , some situations are reported , like packet playing " which is encrypted anyway " .. and memory editing with a hidden or protected editer .

This is why , in many cases if you hack , you dont get banned directly , but reported and sent into investigation , and in many cases you dont get banned , simply because they dont have any proof , which means most of the time you get banned when getting reported by PLAYERS , not warden detecting your hidden editor or trainer .

Thats most of the common thing that you should know , i hope i was usefull in someways , and mind my english : ) .

i would love it if we can start a discussion about warden , instead of just talkin about it .

FYI this is not even accurate. Real good friend of mine IRL used to work at Blizzard in Irvine, CA in account admin, and their hacks admin (when they had one, now gone). But basically he was explaining to me how warden works and unlike common belief warden DOES NOTscan your computer every couple seconds or w/e. What it does is scan your computer once whenever you log into the game for any programs trying to intercept or modify any packets.
