Haha this is actually a really good idea! I use a lot of latin in my names, or names that just fit the etymology of whatever race or class I am using.

My favorite Gnome names I have come up with:

Wobblebonk - Warrior, Naturally
Sprogglefern -
Cogglemuffin -
Fozzlesparks -

You should just name the guild

"Canis Est In Via Dormit" The Dog is sleeping in the street

or

"Pater est Caecillius" The Father is Caecillius

Man, 3 years of latin learned me good thing

Anyways, I always tried to find a noun or verb similar to the look, class, or race of the character I chose.

For instance:

Warlocks - Something demonic or evil (obviously)
Warrior - Something strong or fit or bulky (Tanky McTankerson, Rage, Basher)
Paladin - Something righteous or holy (Justifier, Healy, Smiter)
Priest - Something similar to Paladin
Mage - Something elemental
Hunter - Animal of some sort (I had one named Mongoose, but deleted him and the name was taken within a week)
Druid - I named mine after a tree, but deleted it later and named it after a feral cat in southern Asia
Rogue - Something Red or Makeup like (lawls)

Alternatively if I can't think of one for the class, I used the race

Dwarf - Some kind of rock
Human - Something stupid
Night Elf - Something Hippy like
Gnome - Something mechanical or short (I have one named Gasket)
Orc - Something brutal, or raw
Troll - Something Jamaican (I have one named Trole...)
Tauren - Something more Hippy, Cow-like, or after a flower actually
Undead - Something evil or zombie like
Blood Elf - Something preppy
Draenei - I got nothing for this, usually I use the class (Shaman named Shocks)

Anyways, it is just rambling, but this is what I use to pick a name. I spend a lot of time on it cause I want to physically strangle people that aren't inventive enough to make new names and pick stupid over used names. Legolllas, Gymilli, SephirothXX...
