Ok so this is my first post, looked around and couldn't see anything that has said this before so my apologies if there is, not trying to take credit for someone elses find. I just use the site alot and thought i'd share something i find useful.
Right so i download Autohotkey for the darkmoon faire money making thing and think this is great, so while grinding honour in AB and AV i die and clicked cancel by mistake, this as most of you know will not rez when the 30 seconds are up, only to start the countdown again after the spirit healer has done his thing. This gave me an idea why bother trying to go through a 30 minute AV/AB when i could just "cancel" my way through it with autohotkey.
First:
1) Start autohotkey and load this script:
Loop{
MouseClick, left, 648, 179
Send, {SPACE}
Sleep, 10000
}
^!p::Pause
2) Pause the script and Open WOW, get in the BG of your choice, Best is AV/AB
3) Go die near SH GY as its the least likely to be taken Ally GY. (Use IB GY if horde) If in AB it doesnt matter, same with WSG (just die)
4) Press cancel once and then "Ctrl Alt P" while waiting to be rezzed and the script will start.
5) Go find something better to do for 20-30 mins
So basically you sit at the GY pressing cancel to the rezz and jump every 10s this means that you dont get reported for being a leecher cause your apparently just waiting to be rezzed and jumping stops you going AFK. Therefore you sit there and soak up the honour/badges.
Obviously you must comeback every 20/30mins to restart a BG but it takes a large part of the grind out of it. Ive used this many times in AV/AB and WSG and never once been reported AFK, so it does work.
BTW - before someone posts it, yes this does take the fun out of BG fighting and everyone has there opinion on leechers. I love bgs and take part in them regulaly but there are times where i cba to spend 20 mins in AB against a horde premade in full vengful gear just to lose.
