Never Trust a Stranger

Hello, this is the guide to getting ultimate pleasure from being the stranger who people shouldn't trust.

Step 1: Go to Darnassus, or Teldrassil and set up a tertiary service, call it something like "Free Escort to Stormwind", or something like that. Because a lot of Night Elves make trips to Stormwind all the time, but many of them die on the way. So they would be grateful if you were to help them.

Step 2: Find your first customer, make sure he is some kind of noob, and does not really know the WoW map very well. These noobs are abundant so they shouldn't be too hard to find.

Step 3: Tell him you're now going to Escort him to Stormwind and follow this guide...

Take the boat to Darkshore

Take the boat to Menethil Harbor

Take the boat to Theramore

Now follow this map...




Follow the dotted line to X, which is the port of Steamweedle Cartel.

Step 4: Now you tell him to wait at the port for another boat that will take him to Stormwind. All you do now is log out and sleep in the pleasure of knowing what you have done, and what the noob is going through.

Some of you may be thinking nobody would fall for this. But trust me there are many people who do. I have done this several times and find it hugely enjoyable and satisfying.

A few other things that are fun:

-Getting on a Horde priest, going to the boats, hiding in the galley, and then right before the loading screen...mind control them overboard.

-Getting on a Horde rogue, going to the Dwarf starting place, typing /beckon over and over to get a newb to follow you, and then lead him to the tunnel that leads to the Blasted Lands or whatever it's called, unlock the gates for him, walk far outside on the other end with him...then sap him and sprint back to the gates. Open it and wait for it to close. You have to do the last part because he may have enough time to run back before the gate fully closes.

The second one causes serious fun, because that area is really for level 1s-5s, and lots of them really don't know what a Hearthstone is or how to use it, so they're just kind of stuck in that new zone, wandering around. It's very funny.

Sometimes I like to go back and watch them in Stealth.

Flaws:

1. As said above they can just hearth back to there starting area or selected inn.
2. The fact your attempting to find someone who doesnt know that stormwind is on the other continent and you going completely the wrong way, not as easy as you would think.
3. The fact your little friend will pull every mob and their dog in tanaris means protecting him becomes difficult.

The actual fact that this requires so much work with such a low rate of success means that tbh you would have to be extremely bored to do this.

The problem that I see with this little prank is why would newbies want to go to stormwind in the first place?
