Good place to get some low-level drops & XP..

Okay, before you level 70 guys come in here and start calling me a noob for posting information that doesn't help you buy a much bigger ego in the game than you've already got, please be informed that this thread is solely being posted to help out people that are between levels 18-25.

Now, onto this sucker...

I'm a pretty low-level myself, only being level 26 (I just started playing the game about 2 weeks ago) however I came across a pretty good spot that helps me get some decent drops and good XP for my kills. The drops I'm able to either disenchant or turn around and sell them back to the vendor for a nice little profit. You aren't going to get 5 million gold doing this, but more along the lines about 1G for a nice little bit of time of killing. The big thing about it is you get a good amount of XP, plus the drops are a nice little plus on the side of leveling up (I gained about 4 levels just messing around in the area).

So, where is it?

If you start around Camp Taurajo and head north-east for just a few minutes, you'll come across the area marked on the map. I don't quite remember the exact name of the pigs there (I'm thinking quillbacks or bristlebacks or quillboars or something to that effect), but they will be the pig things. Not the big red dragons or the giraffes or other things in the area, but the pigs.

When I was level 25 killing a level 19, I was getting around 100XP for each kill, not only that, they drop blood shards like crazy (when selling the blood shards to vendors, they give you 2.5 silver for a stack of 10, but if you stay in the area for a good while, you can easily leave with 8 or 9 stacks of blood shards, which of course could equal to around 20-22.5 silver). Now, I know to some people who are gold-crazed that amount is going to seem like nothing at ALL, however like I stated in the beginning of the topic, this is for people who have just started out in the game with a new character or are a complete n00b to the game period, and this is how I was able to make a decent amount of money to start saving up for bigger and better things.

Among the blood shards, you can get a bunch of other stuff such as armor and all kinds of health restoring items as well. Not to mention, you get money drops from them too, which they can drop around 20-50 copper on each kill.

So, yea... That's the little sweet spot I found for low-level guys just starting out. I don't see many topics posted to help out low level guys, so I thought I could hopefully contribute something to you guys.

Thanks for contributing, buy i advice you to either use an Auction House addon to scan the AH everyday, in that way you can buy low and sell high. That is the best method of making gold at low lvls. (There is guides about this in this section)

Also, in that way you could just kill the mobs at your own level and get even more exp and make money at the Auction house .

Good that you posted this, overall, that area is a VERY nice grind spot level 20 and up, they die quite fast, especially if you are a caster, just watch out for the caster moobs, some of them can root you

Really easy as a Retri Paladin, Seal Of Command ~ Level 20 (talent), so easy, and you can also mana tap/silence the enemies when they are casting a spell such as "Fireball".

In response to Nolixz: I just now recently got into the auction house ideas and stuff. So, when I found out about the area, I was going about things just making money as I killed stuff and sold their items to the vendor. So, for anyone out there that still does it that way, I figured I'd throw my nice little grind spot out to 'em. But thanks for the advice.. I'm sorry since this was reposted, I did quite a bit of searching and didn't come across anything, but I'm glad it brought you guys some memories.
