[Rogue]How to solo Sketiis Trees with S1 and PvP Shs Spec

Ok, everyone knows about the big trees at Sketiis Mountains. They yield nice herbs and also give +30 rep / kill with the Skyguard faction. By this post I am telling you how I manage to down them solo as a 17/0/44 Shs PvP spec rogue with S1 + the other Bg earned epics. The reason why I am making this guide is that many rogues all over the realms I am playing think those 71 – 72 (elite) mobs are imposible if you are not combat rogue. I tried it, I managed it so here it is:

Things you need to have before going there:

- Herbalism leveled up to 375
- Flying mount
- Bandages ( I take around 60 with me per farming session)
- Food (enter 1 AV and take mage conjured food from there – you will save some money. I always get 80 biscuits)
- Make sure that weapon skill and defense skill are at max
- You do not need poisons; they are immune
- I also take 40 flash powder and 2 – 3 healing pots in case of emergency

How to spot them:

- Fly around the lake; watch out for those birds that dismount you. You can either fall in the lake in middle of water elemental mobs or on the ground and take fall damage plus get killed by mobs there.

How to kill them:

• Make sure you start the encounter when their patrolling in areas where you will not draw additional aggro.
• Premeditation – put 2 points on them
• Shs – get bhind them
• cheap-shot. By this time you should have at least 4 – 5 points on the mob
• as soon as you get 5 points on them cast rapture (much efficient then eviscerate)
• cast hemo until you get 2 points on them
• cast slice and dice
• cast hemo until you get 5 points on them
• cast kidney shot, try and get as much points on them as possible
• if they debuff you with slow weapon speed use Cloak of Shadows to remove it.
• sometimes your HP may drop fast; as soon as Cheat Death procs, use blind and bandage.
• by the time you finished bandaging and they get out of blind your kidney shoot is also ready, so cast it
• in case of emergency you can use evasion or vanish, but this doesn’t happen to me very often.

Ehrm... I just soloed about 10-20 elite trees in skettis with a retripaladin... its easy... other classes can do it too i think... Btw any classes can make it!

As an SL/SL lock with your void as tank , these guys are easy mode.. I try to take 2 everyday to pump my rep

It's just as easy as a resto druid.
1. Spot the mob, throw rejuv on yourself.
2. Start with starfire for some nice initial damage, quickly moonfire and go bear.
3. Stack lacerate and use demo shout when needed.
4. If health goes below 60% or so, bash the tree (right after using lacerate so you have a full duration). Throw a lifebloom, rejuv and another lifebloom on yourself. Go back to bear form. If done right you should have enough time to use lacerate on the tree and continue the 5 stack from earlier.
5. Just repeat this untill tree is dead (if bash is down use stomp).

why would you do this?

They are "skinable" by herbalists and yield nice herbs per kill
