[Mage-Tip] Quest: Blood for Blood

This is more of just a tip for Mages. I have helped a few of my guildies with this quest and told a few other Mages this tip.


When you do have the Demonic Blood what the easiest thing to do is just Poly the Felblood Initiates then cast the Siphon. As soon as it gets done casting, I start casting a fireball and normally its timed just right to keep the mob on you so no one else takes it.

Rinse, repeat until the quest is finished.

If you are any class that has a good CC its possible but thats something that I'm not sure of.


I know that there are some Uber Mages who post on these message boards, and this is not directed towards you as this would be "common sense". Thanks everyone and enjoy 2.4!

Very nice attempt bro but... this is just sad. I play a mage, i dont sheep I dont frost nova... just one frost bolt and they are slowed enough to cast the blood thing and kill them before they even get to me... Damage taken = 0

I actually just start casting fel siphon at max range and rightaway start casting pyro.. allways works :<

Seriously why do people have to be negative? Constructive criticism doesn't mean you go ahead and label something "sad".

As I stated in my original post, this was not meant for Mages who already know what to do as this would be common sense. This was for Mages who do not know what to do.

Thanks for the "feedback". And I do not believe that this was a repost. There is another one for the same quest but for a different class.
