Derek's Guide Info (no DL)

I have bought the guide, and hope to be one of the first 500. If I do succeed I will def help you guys out with the bonus. As for all of you who are complaining that the guide has no pictures or anything, it is simply because they aren't finished with it. you should see something like "DLG Waypoints" in your addons folder, along with all the other DLG files. This is a feature that is going to be like another 'bonus' and should act similar to current in-game mapmods, such as Joana's metamap function. Until this feature becomes active, I would suggest you use idemise's or aelwyns as they both give more information and give you a lil' dot to follow. Until then, we shall wait for it to be upgraded. Remember folks, Derek probably seemed pressured to get the guide out ASAP, and like all new-born products it has its fare share of bugs. I may try to contact derek and help him get out some of the instructions bugs, and add more information. One example, is when playing tauren it assumes you can get your class quest at lvl 1, I also think I recall that one of them had told you to accept part two of a quest as the first step.

MetaMap does not conflict with the addon
Alot of you are complaining that you drop the total package file into the addons folder, but instead you must drop everything INSIDE of it for it to work. I know this gives you like 15 or so files you need to check when you click on addons, but that is what is nessecary for it to work. There is a video posted on the official DL page but I don't know how to download it.

works with my wow fine too, and i got a boat load of addons (titan, metamap, onebag, X-frames etc...)

Not at all, I am never gonna post the actual guide as it would just be a repost. however, derek said there would be bonuses, one of them being a strategy to get 1-70 in 5 days played. He did get 6 days played time SOLO, but I'm just saying the guide at the moment is pretty...Vague and outdated (especially the early parts) as well as the fact that waypoints don't work yet.

You might try using one of the tools for downloading a youtube video, as all you are looking for is the actual file location. As well as this, I do believe the video is also in a .flv format.
