Mages!! Check out these AoE tips!

I found some places that No-one has talked about here... i think

    1. Badlands - dem Rocks... Dem rocks. Really easy to grind... hella good money. Some times camped. Right by the horde city for about 36-44. and then go south for some bigger ones!

    2. Might be common but SoS ... revenge against Murlocks! on the silver strand. (thought it would be Common sense )

    3. I liked grinding the Felpaw w/e's in Felwood. Little challening. But good rep.

    4. Sithilus... whether your hardcore and do the Twilights, or a little more mediocre and like the rocks, its by far the most profitable place on the globe.

Ok, some tips... Get some cleanse pots/first-aid dealies... They help soo much.
    Pots pots pots! get lots.

Get Gear "of the Eagle" or i like some "of the Owl"

If you can, get some Wizard oils, its hella useful.

    my AoE grinding spec:http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...13230013201000
why i took PoM- It's hella fun!
    arcane- Mo Manna Yo!
btw, go all frost first...arcane just gives some other situations playability, and its fun!
Imo, AoE grinding is the Fastest way to level. i got 6 days /played... im by no means Hardcore. Its also a very good cash maker.
    Happy grinding... the fun way!

P.S. - i havent got to AoE grind in the outlands yet. waay to camped. Sithilus is nice and empty to grind tho : ) ... 64 and trying out tyrs hand. Ill keep ya posted.

i have to admit that we mages may need more info than this this is just where to grind i don't even understand where most of the places you are talking about are it would help to know spell rotations but here is what i think for spell rotationsfor fire mages)
    use flamestrike
    then frost nova
then blizzard until they break out of the ice
    blastwave
    flamestrike
    dragon's breath (if u have it i don't yet)
    go back to frost nova
(when u use frost nova i am assuming you have gone out of range of their melee attacks and out of range of their ranged attacks right in between)

Re: Mages!! Check out these AoE tips!

Well. Basically, start at 24- you have all the spells you Require.

start off with a frost nova.
    Blink away.
    blizzard 1nce
    blizzard 2cwe
    CoC
    Frost nova...
    repeat :P

It takes alot of practice, and you might die a few times, but its soo worth it in the end.

Btw only frost mages AoE grind, not fire mages... sorry

Re: Mages!! Check out these AoE tips!

yeah, my mage is 22 atm and full frost so far, so all I need now is CoC

oh, and a question: can you use flamestrike after u blink away from the nova'd and then use blizzard right after for some added dps on the mobs?

I would suggest not... breaks frost nova... Blizzard is way better imo... If you get the Imp blizzard from the talent tree it slows hxc and it is very easy to get 2 blizzards in.

This isn't really for aoe grinding though... accually it is if the mobs aren't a lot lower than you but usually u aoe grind when the mobs are green

well truthfully i don't aoe grind much anyways i usually take on creatures like 4-5 lvls higher than me and kill them one on one i can take more than one but it gets a little harder because instead of using fireballs u have to split the attacks unless if i can sheep one of them

ah, ok. I guess I'll just blizzard, then. I put the talent points into imp blizzard, but does Frostbite proc with imp blizzard also? (If so, is it worth it?)
