    [Beginer] Raid UI

    What youll need:

    Trinity Bars

WoWInterface Downloads : Outdated Mods : Trinity Bars 1.0

    Deadly Boss Mods
Deadly Boss Mods :: A World of Warcraft AddOn

    Omen
World of Warcraft Addons - WowAce.com

    Recount
World of Warcraft Addons - WowAce.com

    Pitbull
World of Warcraft Addons - WowAce.com

    Prat
World of Warcraft Addons - WowAce.com

    Grid
Grid | World of Warcraft Addons | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com

    Quartz
Quartz | World of Warcraft Addons | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com

After you download and install all the addons your UI is going to look something like this.

As you can tell its a mess. What you want to do is delete all the action bars and hide all your bags cast bars and pet bars. To do this right click on the triniti bars icon on your mini map which looks like this.

Then when you click on a bar youll see that in the doc menu it says delete dock click it and your bar will be gone. Do this to all your bars.

to hide your bars right click the bar and select autohide as seen here

Now lock your bars by left clicking the trinity icon and right clicking this icon.

After you do that select create new that is located beside the delete dock icon

Then drag it to a spot you feel comfortable with (I chose bottom left corner) and left click to cheese how many buttons you want.

Then place all your necessary skills and abilities in the slots.

After you have done that click the screw icon on your mini map, scroll down to pitbull and turn of target and targets target buffs and debuffs as well as player buffs and debuffs.

Then disable your party, party pets, party targets and raid frames as we will be using grid.

Then put your unit frames in a decisive spot where you'll be able to see them vividly.

Once you've done that type /quartz into your char box to bring up the Quartz config menu. Then unlock the player and target cast bars and put them in a desired location.

Once you have done that toggle omen and grid by selecting there icons on your mini map, and put them recount and your chat box in a desired location.

Make sure that all your action bars and frames are you of your view so you are able to see incoming threats and are able to move easily.

And there you have it. A basic raid UI that can suite just about anyone.

Note: Deadly boss mods is pretty much self sufficient. It creates bars for spacial abilities and what not for each boss to warn you of any harm or when you need to do specific tasks. There is no real need for customization when it comes to DBM.

Very good, I am all set but this will help alot of people. Often people start raiding are told by their guild to go download some boss mods, but they are never sure where to begind, then never sure how to customise them either.

IMO right section, it is a GUIDE on how to set up raid addons and which to use. If it was actually like a release of an addon etc then could be put in the addon section. But i think its fine over here?

Ya it was ment to be a guide. I hear alot of people asking how to create UI's and how making them can be a biotch so i decided to give a little tutorial on how to make a quick functional UI with all the basic mods for raiding so that even a first time raider will be able to use it

If you keep them on the first dock yes they will but when you create another dock like in the guide no it wont.

    Great guide rly.

But you can use Shakedown ( i think thats the name of the programm ). When you activate it you can move all your Addons in the right possition.

But for people who start raiding or want to have a new interface this is a great guide
