Warlock Affliction Spell Rotation

Thought i would share my ideas on Spell rotaton. or what i use and i find effective.

UA
Corruption (spam your button for no global cooldown after UA is cast)
Curse of Shadows
Immolate
Siphon's Life
Shadow Bolt spam till UA has 1 sec left
Repeat

For thrash (if they live about ~20 seconds)
UA
Corruption
CoS
Shadow Bolts

Please give personal opinions.

This Rotation normally has me 1st, 2nd or 3rd on DPS in Kara, Gruul, Mag, SSC, TK.

I can answer that, to buff the shadow users in the raid by 3%, make the boss hit for 5% less, and give the tanks 1000 more hp.

On topic, there is no set rotation for affliction. The idea is to have as close to 100% dot uptime as you can get, it's obtainable with any rotation. Do what you feel comfortable doing, not what someone suggests you should do. To each his own.

hmm with trash i always start with shadowbolt,
before the shadowbolt hits the target you can get atleast UA on him
then Corruption + COS + shadowbolts,
in groups after +/- 4 bolts put the dots on him again (no COS)

Siphon's Life should only be used if the healers actually have a hard time focusing on the tanks ect.

Seems like you'd be best off not having a set rotation. Just start off with something like this and then spam shadow bolt till a dot ticks off. When this happens reapply. (Or if it's something like UA/Immolate, begin casting right before it falls off.)

40/0/21 is nice for raiding if you dont want to go full destro
You do a lot of damage, still can use dark pact, have nearly all affliction thingies, and you even have ruin, you just dont have SoC, but i think 100% crit bonus dmg is way better.

I like your rotation except for the drain life. And to everyone saying "there is no set rotation" he is saying that this is the best rotation to not pull aggro while maximizing DPS.

The best rotation to not pull aggro are dots that will do the least damage first.

The above is the MOST threatening, with the exception of immolate not being thrown on first.
