    [Macro] Need help adjusting Mouseover Macro

    Hey guys, first thread here. I did a search and couldn't find what i was looking for. I recently had to reformat my computer and lost my old mouseover macro I was using. I had to throw something together, but it doesn't work as well as I would like.

    Here is what i have right now, I'm looking for help improving it.

    #showtooltip
    /cast [target=mouseover, help, exists] Flash of Light;
    /cast [target=target, help, exists] Flash of Light;
    /cast [target=player, help, exists] Flash of Light;

    As you can see I want it to first attempt to heal my mouseover, if I don't have someone on my mouseover, I want it to heal my target. And if I don't have anyone targeted, to heal myself.

    I haven't been able to correctly diagnose the problem I'm having, but I've noticed this not working sometimes. Any help would be appreciated.

    Your problem is in the very beginning... "#showtooltip" should be "#showtooltip Flash of Light"...... that should fix the problem.

    Hmm, don't see anything obviously wrong with it, but you could shorten it to:

    #showtooltip
    /cast [target=mouseover, help][help][target=player] Flash of Light

    You don't need to do #showtooltip Flash of Light unless you have a macro doing several spells, and you want it to always show a specific one instead of whatever action it will cast (for cooldown purposes, for example).

    Try this:

    /cast [target=mouseover,help,exists,nodead]Flash of Light;[target=target,help,exists,nodead]Flash of Light;[target=player]Flash of Light;

    That should work. Perhaps your macro broke, because you're mouse was on a "dead player"-hitbox. These is not the same check as "exists"...

    BTW: [target=player]... that's you! there you don't have to check for exists and help ;D

    You don't need exists if you have help. Forgot about nodead though
