    Re: Rogue Specs.

I've found there to be a lack of decent fist weapons compared to daggers/swords

Not true in my humble opinion, good sir. For PVP battlegrounds and other forms of team pvp, subtley is useful, the idea for subtley isn't 1 on 1 combat or solo PVE, it's designed for a group-friendly rogue.

Let's take PVP for example, lets say in a 3v3 arena game, your team is comprised of you, another rogue, and a healer.

Your opponent is made up of a Warrior, a Mage and a Priest.

A poorly played subtley rogue would just stealth, sap the priest and try to take on one of the other two, without thinking about his team, this would result in the other two players from the opponent's team focusing fire on the Rogue. Due to the rogues light health and armour, the rogue would die quickly, vanish is there, but the warrior can use thunderclap. The healer would be there, but the rushing rogue would be taking so much damage that he would be noticed and possibly targeted, meanwhile, the other rogue cries.

A well played subtley rogue would be group focused, he would plan ahead of time. He would have gone WITH the other rogue (exact same talents as you) that rogue would sap the mage, while you sap the warrior, then you both advance on the priest, you open up with cheap shot and the other rogue opwns with ambush, from there you both just go nuts and rip the priest down.

Your healer hides during this, healing whenever needed whilst not being seen.

You both stealth again, and target the mage, who is also squishy, seeing as you both know that mages can blink out of cheapshot, the other rogue opens up with a silencing garrote, you open up with ambush and then use blind on the warrior, to make sure he stays still. Seeing as the mage is silenced, and hopefully affected by crippling poison, you both go and slaughter him. Now for the warrior. Again you both use stealth, you use premitidation (because you are subtley specced)
so does the other rogue, you open up with cheap shot, the other rogues opens up with Garrote, (because ambush wouldn't be very effective against a plate wearer, and cheapshot was already used).

Initiative procs and you now have all 5 combo points, so you use sunder armour, whilst the other roue has four, so he uses Exiscerate. From there you both take him down.

You win, the priest was there to get you the heals you needed.

Now, if you go over what I just posted, you will notice how the teo rogues co-operate with eachother, as well as how they all use different openers depending on class.

Basically, subtley utilises a mixture of knowledge of the opponent, timing, and co-operation, as well as planning, how else could the rogues manage to co-operate so perfectly?

Now, this is just an OPINION, what I THINK about subtley, I'm not the King of Rogues, in fact, I'm somewhat new to them.

Now, there will obciously be some holes in my logic somewhere, if you spot any, please sfeel free to correct me, I'll probably end up learning something from it, just don't flame.
