Hello MMOwned, First off, I hope that his is the right place to post this, if not please inform me
Anyways, this 'guide' is going to be a compilation of WoW UI's that are clean.
By clean I meant that they are minimalist, tidy, and look attractive.
Personally I love this kind of UI.
I may change this and add other UIs later on, although I cannot really comment on Cluttered UIs as I don't use them :/
FreeUI
FreeUI's WoWInterface Page
This is the UI that I am currently using, which is why I put it first. it's overall a really simple UI which looks good and does the job.
Here's a screenshot.
And in a raid enviroment...
Advantages?
So, this UI comes with many advantages, I don't want to be repetitive, as most of the UI's I will be showing are 'Simple' and 'Look Nice' because this is a compilation of Good UIs. Not just every minimalistic UI under the sun. Anyways, the main advantage of this one in particular, is the easy install.
It takes you through all 5 steps, which are are worded simply so that even the 'noobiest' of users, can understand and use this UI. But don't worry the installation doesn't take long.
If you take away the time taken to read, it takes about 6 seconds.
Disadvantages?
The only one that really comes to mind, is the fact that if I, as a warrior, forget to pop battle shout before I go into combat, it will remind me, which isn't so bad, it just tends to annoy me in PvP when I simply don't have time to pop Battle Shout right now. Other than that small annoyance, it seems like a brilliant UI that is very noob friendly.
So to wrap it up, I really recommend this UI, it is my own personal choice, and for anyone else that likes their WoW Interface to look nice and also be easy to use and simple, this is the perfect UI for you, and is the almost the foundations of the other UIs in this Compilation, which extend more to usefulness, or more to appearance, depending on UI. FreeUI has is the balance in between the two.
So that pretty much covers it for FreeUI, next up is...
SkaarjUI
SkaarjUI's WoWInterface Page
Having never personally used this UI, I cannot comment on it from personal experience. But it is a popular UI that is very visually pleasing and seems to have everything a good clean UI needs.
And in a raid environment...
Advantages?
Well, This UI seems very practical and looks to have all the necessary features for playing the game at a casual level. Although I can't see it pleasing hardcore players, of which not many use clean UIs anyway. And of course this UI, in my opinion, looks very nice and is very well laid out. No parts of the UI overlap or interferes with each other.
Disadvantages?
As I have not used this UI, there's not much I can say. One thing that did strike me, was the fact that this UI did not come with a picture of it in a Raid Enviroment, which put me off slightly. I don't want to go into my first raid with this UI, and find that it will not work well in a raid enviroment. Just a little side-note.
So that's pretty much it for this UI. Pretty, Efficient and Non-Raid Friendly?
TukUI
TukUIs Website
This was one of the first 'clean' UIs that I used, before this, I simply used bartender. I instantly fell in love with this UI, because of how good it looks, and how customizable it is.
Here's a few screenshots of TukUI
Solo
Arena
And in a raid environment...
Advantages?
This UI has to be one of the best out there, it's simple, has EVERYTHING you need, it's easy to navigate around, easy to install, and it's customizeable!? What more can I say? Oh, and their website has a forum for any issues you might encounter...
Disadvantages?
lolwut,I haven't found any yet.
Also, I have a video of me using this UI, from my old WoW YouTube Channel, I'll post it for any that want a better look at this UI
This is a video of the TukUI Hydra Edit.
I no longer play this character, that realm, any of the characters on that realm, or use that youtube account. Just a side note.
