    How to optimize your WOW

Well, this is my first real contribution to mmowned comunity, i hope this will help you getting a better playing experience with wow.
I know this is a repost, but im doing a recopilation, so here it is anyway.

These are my personal stuff recopilation for getting better FPS and latency:

    - Leatrix Latency Fix:
This modify your TCP protocol to have more responses, and then allows you to have a better latency in WOW and other online games and app's that uses TCP protocol. (better explanation in link)

Leatrix Latency Fix : WoWInterface Downloads : WoW Tools & Utilities

    - Latency Fix for MAC:

Same as above, but this is for MAC (didn't tested it because i dont have a mac)
fix latency - download tag - Softpedia

    - Have better FPS in AOE's:
With this console command in wow, you can decrease the number of elements that fall in some AOE's like Blizzard (mage), or Hellfire (warlock) or Volley (hunter) set it to 1 for best performance. You can type it in the wow chat box, or make a macro with the command and click it.

    /console SpellEffectLevel 1
    This is the normal number:
    /console SpellEffectLevel 9
This is for fun! (expect to crash your wow if you have a very bad machine):
    /console SpellEffectLevel 500

    - Lower even more your wow graphics:
¿Still bad FPS? lower your wow graphics even more that wow allows in their options to play it in machines from the past millenium.

Create this macro in-game and execute it:
    /console gxcolorbits 16
    /console gxdepthbits 16
    /console skycloudlod 0
    /console particledensity 0.3
    /console lod 0
    /console fullalpha 0
    /console doodadanim 0
    /console mapshadows 0
    /console loddist 50
    /console smallcull 2
    /console maxlights 0
    /console specular 0
    /console pixelshader 0
    /console detaildensity 1
    /console unitdrawdist 20
    /console waterlod 0
    /console basemip 1
    /console shadowlevel 1
    /console alphalevel 1
    /console anisotropic 16
    /console textureloddist 80
    /console light 0
    /console fog 0
    /console bitdepth 16
    /console showwater 0
    /console maxlod 0
    /console watermaxlod 0
    /console waterwaves 0
    /console waterspecular 0
    /console waterripples 0
    /console waterparticulates 0
    /console showshadow 0
    /console skyclouddensity 0
    /console skysunglare 0
    /console skyshow 0
    /console gxrestart
If your UI dont restart itself with this macro, restart it manually with /rl command

Sorry for if i did some english mistakes, im spanish :P
    I hope it helps!

I really dug the macro to minimalize everything, but found that it it's mostly the spelleffects that decrease fps by a large chunk; but not seeing things such as the desecration in ToC when tanking causes troubles

Do you have any commands that would beef up wows graphics even more? I have a gtx 260 graphics card and 60 fps with highest graphics most of the time. Imma try the 500 spell effect one and see if it makes AoE look better.

Maybe some of you guys don't know but running Window media player helps your loading in WoW. Pretty sure it was tested and it works.Do note it is not a HUGE improvement just a significant one

/rl is just reloading the interface - part of the debug tools that got added in again.

I don't see the effectiveness of using it while changing graphics options.
