Paladin Leveling+Instancing spec?

Hey guys Im resrarting world of warcraft soon as a blood elf paladin but I want to know which class I should be to level and be able to help alot in instances, I wouldnt mind a tank spec as long as I can dps solo as well or retribution, Please help guys! Thanks.

Is your Paladin a 70 yet, or are you just starting a new one from level 1? If you're a level 1 then levelling as ret is the way to go all the way, the only reason that I would level as prot from 70-80 would be if I had plenty of gear from TBC instancing, enough that AOE grinding would be useful.

From there speccing is pretty straightforward (Divine Purpose + Sanctified Wrath + Vindication + Eye for an Eye, etc)

cause I'm not the aoe tanking guy
