It would be better if it showed you where to get items and what drops them and where to fish to get certain fish and that kind of stuff that thottbot or the other wow sites tell you.

that's sweet, but I had already seen this...(someone else posted it before, same screen shot and all) I mean it's nice that your refresh stuff but give proper credits (omfg like, reread, when I first readed it it said 'The most amazing addon, get it FAST!' But the idea of him being the creator didn't cross my mind, sweet though. (This addon's helped me a lot, in fact I might make a 10 must-have addons, or something like that. Hehe)

Yep , i use MetaMap with it and it adds a MobMap search button to it .

New to the forums here and so far am loving it. I'm also very happy to see Piggy is mac user so i know he has brains and I'm not alone. I know the basics about addons here but seem to be having a bit of trouble with this one. I downloaded the two folders one with the addon and the other with the database as I cant use the manual installer...o well. Anyways I stuck them both in my WoW Addon folder and went to addons on my character selection screen and selected "Mobmap" and the 7 other database folders "MobmapDatabseStub1-7" they all are suppose to be enabled but when I get ingame I get an error message that pops up:




Can anyone shed some light on my problem?

Just a quick update I was able to get rid of the error message however I'm encountered with yet another problem. I decided to remove all the folders in there and start fresh so i downloaded both the add on Folder "ModMap130 Folder" and the Database Folder "ModMap" and simply put them in my add on folder now after doing so I don't get the error message but yet I still don't get the map operational in fact it doesn't even appear in the add on menu of the game to select.

The database file (not folder) has to be inside the MobMap folder , and the MobMap folder has to be in your addons folder . Make sure you have an updated database file and it should all work fine .
