Help with battle.net account transfering?

Okay so, recently my friend said his goodbyes and quit WoW for good. He said I could have the account, since I'd contributed towards leveling some of his toons in the past. Awesome.
So I asked him to give me details, and he went oh shit, I have no idea.
Here's the information we have:
full name.
address/phone number, etc.
Authentication key for his WOTLK Purchase (Not the original wow key)
We know possibly what his secret question could relate to, but can't get the right combination of words. (We don't know the answer).

Now I'm asking, with the information I have, is there any possible way of getting his toons over to my account under a different name and battle.net? Or is there not enough information there? We've tried ringing blizz (they said they'd launch an investigation and email us, it's been over a week with still no sign of an email), and Emailing them directly (nothing but the automated email)
Any help here?

Blizzard will not transfer any characters between accounts that are not registered to the same person. Making a new account with the same info and transfering it is your only option.

You cant account to account x-fer without the SQA, what you can do to retreive it trough is submit his I.D and a form ( just call blizzard and say you forgot the sqa, they will e-mail you the form and such, keep in mind doing so will lock the account. )

If you can submit proper documentation, they will allow you to choose a new SQA.

Here's a scenario:
Account A has an 80 Rogue, and his name for info is Bob Bob

Account B name for info is Dog God

Account B wants the 80 Rogue, so Account A pays a transaction to transfer 80 Rogue to a Account B.

Account A fills out info and such, and does it.

Account A will get banned/suspended for one day.

Account B will now have 80 Rogue

The name on both Battle.net accounts must be exactly the same, or it will not let you transfer the character. It stops you before you even put in your payment info.

If his friend can get his account unmerged from his BNet account he can link his account to his BNet and then xfer what toons he wants and only pay for one account.
