Doesnt matter they wont do shit except send your info to a collections agency. ive had $-360 for over a year now with no calls/people showing up/emails whatever/ only email I ever got was from paypal about it and I just ignored it.

I've had this happen to me once before... well, it was slightly different.

I got $300 from a friend transferred to my PayPal account after he had scammed $600 of some Chinese guy but when the guy did the chargeback for some reason I got the entire $600 taken off me.

So $300 was given back and $300 went into a negative accounts. Don't ask how it happened as I don't know (do any of you lol?) but contacted PayPal about it telling them this and that, etc etc and nothing happened.

I refused and refuse to pay $300 that I never scammed from someone, told them that too. They locked my account (which sucks since I can't slowly put money onto it now and my DC is on it) and wouldn't reply to my appeal (they gave the damn email those bastards, and I refuse to ring an American phone number from another country thanks!).

This was around the middle of last year, nothing has happened since. I haven't had a call from anyone, but like I said, it's not really my fault. So yeah, this whole "debt collector" guy could come but I'm still waiting for him.

Same, i live in the US and have $-250 in my account for a month and all I got is an email. Nothing else "so far". I don't mind paying but they limited my account on some bs.

All of the people posting nonsense about you going to jail dont know shit. I cannot say for sure what's gonna happen, but I would assume that if you dont repay the money paypal is going to give your name to a debt collecting agency. Dont let that intimidate you, they are not going to come to your house over $500. They might call you or send you a letter, but thats all they can do. The only things is, this might mess up your credit score but if you dont care about that then you got nothing to worry about.
