[Question] Keeping account with battle.net system

So I just got an account I had scammed a while ago through using the e-mail change form. So my question is If I merge it with a newly created Battle.net account is it pretty much a done deal that they can never get it back? Thanks in advance.

They can retake the account, he can just call bliz or he will get an email to the one registered to his wow account and there's an option where he can say that he didn't authorize it and what not.

He got his e-mail on the account, so they won´t recieve a notification at all.

Even if he doesn't get a email, he can still take it back, all he has to do is login and find out that his account has been merged, call up blizzard and get it changed.
