Ignore all the idiots, game cards are not "world of warcraft." They're real items, if you scam someone out side of a game you can go to jail for stealing, maybe not a long time, maybe you'll never get caught, maybe no one will care.

Ignore everyone, apart from Christina. She is correct, you may never actually get caught. Like Torrenting, but it is possible to goto Jail for "Stealing" Seeing you have actually taken a possesion that was rightfully his.

No, you will not go to jail. Just to be safe just use a proxy to hide yourself.
I doubt he will even know what to do once he finds out you scammed him.
Probably the first thing he will try to do is contact Blizzard, and they will
tell him that they do not deal with that. Than he will just forget about it.
