starting a paypal

So now I have come to a point where I have too many accounts to keep track of. I have sold some to in-game friends for gold but I want to starting selling for real money. I decided I am either going to sell to accounts.net or accounts.com but I need a paypal to receive the money .

Is there anyway you can start a paypal to use and receive money without having a credit card? Could I start one with perhaps a visa gift card or one of those cards you can buy from a bank?

EDIT: If this helps...the money will be used mostly for purchasing gold online...Maybe some other things from Amazon or another online site as well though

Well with paypal you can directly link it to your bank account, or you could get one of those new green dot cards that act exactly like a debit card except its more of like a gift card kind of way. Except you are protected from theft. So the benefits of a credit card without the credit card ;] youll have to read more about it

I researched green dot cards and most people said to just get a different brand of debit card..

You don´t need a credit card to recieve cash on Paypal ...

Accounts.com can pay through check, that's what I used when i sold to them

Ah, tricky one here. But I think to get yourself money on an account for Paypal you don't need a credit card at all. If your buying with Paypal obviously you will need a Credit Card linked up.

In your situation if your just receiving money and using it for other online-services you might not need one at all. I'm not entirely sure though because Paypal is not my hot spot. If you want the money in real life to withdraw, assuming you have a bank account you can link up your Paypal that way. So if your short of money or just need some off-hand cash link up your Paypal with your bank ( This can be done over the Paypal website I think. ) you can just go to your bank account once the money has been sent to your Paypal and just whip it out.

He is right you dont need it to receive money BUT you are completely limited without a bank account on which means you can only receive up to 500 bucks a month =/ but just have them pay you with a check =D

'Tis Epic advice. Nobody normally pays through check. Get them to pay you with a check. That way, there is no recalling of accounts etc.

Checks can have the money stopped on them though, there are so many check scams haha i even know how to wash a check its so easy and then you can just put however much money you want on it =P. But since hes selling to accounts.com there should be no problems with them stopping the check.

Well I'm not to worried about the original owner's of the account recalling the account after I sell it because the accounts have been attached to my email address for weeks.

So you guys are saying I can make a premier paypal account (allows to buy and sell) without a credit and it will allow me to use the money I make from selling the accounts to buy gold and real items from websites?

Also I am not going to use checks. I'm at an age that I still live with my parents and they can't see random checks for hundred+ dollars coming for me in the mail xD.

Yes you can link your bank account to a paypal account and you should be fine.


and im only 16 and i really wouldnt mind it i would just tell them i won a online competition or something. haha >.< i am a hardcore gamer and have gone to many mlg torunaments around the country so theyd believe me. Used to be known as MLGxSAVIOR if any of you play. I was on triggers down for a while and then they decided for a roster change and i was kicked off =P oh well there loss. @sk8er...yeah I could but my dad is actually intelligent with computers and would probably research the site. How would I go about linking it to my bank account? Would I need my parents for that? I'm 16 also btw

Well paypal is a funny thing you are supposed to be 18 to sing up but my brother being the dumb shit he is actually tried it and suceeded and still uses it. Anyway another way to verify the acccount is to get a check and put the digits at the bottom of it in paypal (or something along those lines cant member >.<) and then it directly links to your bank account. If you dont have any check you can use your parents it wont matter because unless you withdraw money out of there bank it shouldnt alert them.
