Can I get in trouble for "hacking" an email?

Hey.
I have a question I need help with. Here's the deal:

I bought an account 2months ago from one guy, and today this guy took the account back. So I "hacked" his email then (he used the same password that he had on the account 2months ago). And I changed email on the wow account back to mine again.
So my question is. Can I get in trouble for this? Should I not have done what I did?

Like with any scam, you could get in trouble. The odds of you being punished by anyone other than Blizzard are next to nothing.

You have just logged in his mail...because you wanted your account back. You Payed for it, he does not have the right to take the account back. You were not allowed to buy a account in ebay. So if he do anything, the account can Get Banned, he can get the account back(then you can report him the police...maybe you get your money back, then the account gets banned -.-, or he just go cryieng and buy a new wow...-.-
