Make him file a dispute THEN cancel it, then quickly secure the funds by spending it or whatever because he can still call his CC money and file a cashback
Ok, here's the deal.
I'm about to sell off quite a few K of gold I've gathered the last few months. I've been contacted regarding the gold by a person.
He emailed me from a hotmail adress, and ofc I googled his emai-adress.
Turns out he's a well known scammer, and after he has sent the money to someones paypal he gets the gold, and immediately recals the paypal payment.
He did give a very good bid on the gold, so is there any way I could 'secure' the money on paypal before I send him the gold ingame?
If there is I might as well send him the gold afterwards, but if I see that he tries to scam me, and I'm still able to keep the money it wil get a lot funnier (promise to post chatlogs if that occurs).
TLDR VERSION
If someone sends me a paypal payment, how do i 'secure' the money?
Do I have to request it or what?

Not a good idea.
Any way i can request the money from him so that he can NOT do a chargeback at all?
Even if you send a request for money paypal does not value that as valid information.
Another way would be to set up an ebay auction for a PIECE of paper and get him to buy that auction. Once he buys the auction you ship him the piece of paper and you get
i) An ebay receipt number AND
ii) A tracking number
both of which can be used as evidence if he files a dispute.

You can file cahrgeback even then, a big problem for ebay sellers
Laton's idea is probably the only way to do it
That or you don't send him the money
He isn't using a proxy or anything, so I've got his adress. And I've also made a nice collection of links to people saying he's a scammer.
Was thking, getting my payment, he does a chargeback, I send paypal all the imfo I gathered (with email convos), and see where it goes.
Being a scammer shouldn't pay off
Or you could try keylogging him, then you'd get his paypal info, and you could send the money back to you. I suppose an easy way of keylogging him would be to say that you only send written text documents or whatever.
Recently happened to me with wow accounts, two transfers one of $750 and one of $500 i one the dispute of the $500 but i lost the $750
Doesnt sound to good hold back on that one.
Dont send him the gold. Whats he gonna do sue you?
