COD return scam...

ok, so i just thought of this as i was checking my mail earlier and i had a returned COD because the person decided to not accept it...

requirements: a second copy of the item you want
ability to talk casually without looking like a scammer

steps:
1. first find an item you want
2. ask the person to COD the item to you because you dont feel like meeting them because you are busy
3. once you receive the COD'd item, make a mail with the title "COD item return"
4. place your copy of the item inside the mail for the same ammount that they charged you
5. put text in the box saying basically "i just realized that this is the wrong item can u please give me refund.." or something similar
6. put their name in at the top and hit send
7. they will accept the item not knowing that you never payed for your item
8. ignore the player

This could work...be a stretch and you'd have to count on them not realizing.

Doesn't this require you to have already purchased the item before so you could have a duplicate? I guess you could find someone selling it for more than the first and make a profit, but you aren't getting any free items out of this.

jesus christ...... this is not the same thing.... yours is about fooling people with the ammount of item that u have..
mine is about making people give you your money back when you didnt really accept their item
