Ok this is a "improvement" or add to sin-eater's bulletproof scamming guide. My hats off to sineater for posting his account scam guide. helped me tons. There were just a few things I didn't like about having to wait till such and such times and so I came up with a little way of doing this scam anytime.

Basically you use sin's idea. Find a site ( I too used Markeedragon ). Find an account you want, in this case I found a paladin I wanted. I then contacted the guy. did everything sin said with the exception of making the guy think that westeren union was the best method to use for this.

What this did is make him want to go out and get his money after which he was AFK and I was able to transfer the characters off his account. This took quite a bit more socializing on my part but in the end it worked out.

I also suggest with this way you have them call you and BS with them. As I did here. He called and we talked for abit. Below I will post our AIM conversation for those of you who lack social skills and need pointers. Other then that go easy on me I am trying my best here. Cheers!

Note here I suggest Westeren union of money order being the best route. this is so I can still access his account without having to send anything for trust upfront or at all.

T: No, I won't touch anything on the characters. I will simply screenshot what I need and be off. I will notify you when I am done so that you can change PW right after. At which point I will make the 10min drive to the store and send the payment to you and then when I return and upon verifaction of payment recieved I will then ask for all info on account and e-mail change

Long phone conversation. But while I was talking to him I was also doing the character move as sin's guide says to.. Made a character on the new account with the names of the toons to be transfered and transfered them both. By the time he got to the store to call me back his chars were gone with an empty account left for him.

I gained 2 level 70s on this scam. 70 BE pally fully epic'd and a 70 balance druid fully epic. Heh cost of this? 50$ but now I can resell for much more.
