    My scamming method

    My scamming method
    Heey,
    I've looked at everything and saw some good things. My idea was to mix some things up. I've got a level 65 , frozen account and some other accounts with it.. And since I was looking for something to contribute in, I will share this.

    I started making a phishing website.
    Then I started emailing this with a email which looks like the original:
    (also look at Pyr0's guide: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-sc...mnoartard.html) All © goes to him for this):
    Code:
    Greetings,

    This is an automated notification regarding your World of Warcraft account . Some or all of your contact information was recently modified through the Account Management website.

    *** If you made recent account changes, please disregard this automatic notification.

    You can login to Account Management at the following link to review your account settings:
    http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/ <-- Redirected to phishing site

    *** If you did NOT make any changes to your account, we recommend you change your password and make appropriate corrections as soon as possible to ensure account security.

    If you cannot sign into Account Management using the link above, or if unauthorized changes continue to happen, please contact Blizzard Billing & Account Services for further assistance.

    Billing & Account Services can be reached at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (1-800-592-5499 Mon-Fri, 8Am-8PM Pacific Time) or at [email protected].

    Account security is solely the responsibility of the accountholder. Please be advised that in the event of a compromised account, Blizzard representatives will typically lock the account. In these cases the Account Administration team will require faxed or emailed receipt of ID materials before releasing the account for play.

    This worked very well. But I wanted to take some more steps.
    I didn't change the password and didn't rush into his account but just waited.
    (ofcourse I checked everything at the site) then I changed pass and sended all the items he had + gold to my account and immediately after that I sended this email: ( I did this because I needed gametime)
    Code:
    Greetings,

    An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account has been accessed by someone who is not allowed to use it.
    The account has been disabled, so that you can regain sole and secure access. If you use a credit card to subscribe, it has been removed so you are not charged while the account is disabled.
    Please keep this email until you have regained account access.

    If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account.
    We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
    This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with concealed information about your account.
    You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

    * First and Surname
    * Address
    * Zip code
    * Phone number Daytime
    * Country
    * Account e-mail
    * CD-key, alternative a photograph of your CD-key that is located on your manual for World of Warcraft.
    * Secret Question and Answer

    If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently.
    We ask you to NOT change password until the investigation is fully completed.

    As soon as we have this information we will be able to progress the resolution
    of this matter for you.

    If you wish to review our current Rules and Polices, they can be found at:
    http://www.wow-europe.com/en/policy/

    Regards,
    The World of Warcraft Support Team
    Blizzard Entertainment
    Blizzard Technical Support
    We know the password and username, so we won't ask that.
    Guess what, I got an email back and now it's my account...
    You can keep it or sell it..

    It's always worth a try because he'll retrieve it anyway..

    I know this is a repost, but I mixed it a bit up..

    Tell me what you think!

    In your example it said "World of Warcraft Account, babaslah" or something. What if they notice that that is not their account name? Also, how do we get emails to send stuff to?

    The email with babaslah is what I got from Pyr0's guide; Ask Pyr0 at his guide

    You should google some WoW guilds and lots of them putted there email at the forum. You should add like 20+ of those and send emails..
    A small tip is that there are lots of guides here for phishing. You should first read that. This is just something for people who already know the Phishing Trick..

    Hey,
    You can also just remove it and don't even add an account name at all if you can't find it.
    About the phishing site, I use AWARDSPACE.COM - Free Web Hosting, Domain Hosting, Professional Web Hosting, Domain registration, Affordable, Reseller Program, PHP, MySQL, Ecommerce
    If you want to make it more trusted, you should pay a domain.

    Btw; Lol, I changed someones password, took the gold and sended the second email. Got his info etc and he changed his password to the old one ^^
    Edit: Wooot, got an account with 4 level 70's!!!!
