The report yourself scam!

Hey! Just thought of this scam while I was taking a crap. heh.

Well, I will give it out in steps

1. Get a proxy, try to make it be a foreign country.
2. Use this proxy, log onto account settings, and set a different password
3. Stop using that proxy, and message Blizzard saying you've been hacked
4. Use the proxy again, and do whatever scam you like, there are plenty
5. Stopping the proxy, send in your secret question etc.
6. Without the proxy, you now have your account back (or so blizzard thinks)

Hopefully you understand this, tricking Blizzard into believing you are victim when actually you aint.. Thanks.

hehe, do proxies require programs? If so then, you know how blizzard is, looking into your pc (Programs ex: itumes lol)? but still nice trick / scam lol

Go install wow on a university/library/work computer and do the same thing...

I still don't see the point though. So you get to say your account was hacked, wahts the payoff? They're going to track the gold/items that you dump anyway, so transferring them to an alt/etc is probably going to get you in trouble.

Sorry but I really dont get this lol...if you already have the account why say its been hacked? What do you get from scamming yourself?

Noooo.. The idea is that you " say " you have been hacked, scam OTHER people, take their gold, do what you like with it, then get account back, and for all blizzard knows, you were hacked

Well, its a nice thought. But in reality it is a waste of time. Once your done making "X" amount of Gold, and report yourself saying you were hacked, Blizz will also remove anything the 'hacker' attempted to scam. Leaving you down pooper creek without a paddle.

only flaw in this scam is you have to have an alternate computer to do the scamming or blizz will know its you cuz IP will be the same.
