Need help fast (freshly scammed Acc)

Hey all. I have a freshly scammed account sitting here infront of me. I have SQ&A, CD key and have the email changed to mine as well as the contact info. However, the guy just emailed me saying he is going to call blizz tommorow and get the account back because only he has the last name of the account holder. Is this true what he is saying? How can I change the last name? How can I find out what it is?

Desperate help is needed. <3

Call blizz first thing when they open and have them change it. tell them you just got married or something

Here is what to do: Log on it and give all the money to a friend - In a TRADE! And NOT by ingame mail!

Only problem with doing that is that if the account info is changed too much in a short period of time (eg. he calls in changes last name, original owner calls in saying someone 'hacked' his account and needs acct info changed again) that account will be flagged and closed until the original owner can fax/mail proof that this is their account.

That proof generally being picture identification of some sort, cd-key etc.

Honestly, best thing to do would be to just get what you can from the account safely and let it go in my opinion.

I think if you do a username retrieval, the email goes something like

"Hello mr. FIRSTNAME LASTNAME, sorry for the inconvience blah blah blah..."

They wont reply with your first and last name,

they will reply concerning your username.

Just get the gold off the account, don't worry about what the guy says, if it happens you made out with some gold. If it doesn't you still have your account.

Noone on the server will believe that there was a hacker on it. And also, the account will get banned and looking how fast blizzard replies at the moment, it will take him like a month or more to retrieve, and he will be hated on the server.

if the account is worth it, buy account codes off a a online seller... i would troll the markee dragon forums and find people selling.... (DO NOT RIp THese guys off, they are very willing to help out and usually have the cheapest prices for instant delivery of codes) then make a new account with the last name and transfer the toon.
