Make scammed characters legit

Hi! I get hundreds accounts a month using the youtube account scam.
Though, I only get the account name and pw.
Not very much you can do with them.
So, I thought of some way of keeping the characters in the account.
And then i thought, why not transfer the characters to a new account!
For this to work, you will need the account owners name, pw, and last name. The mail you get with the youtube scam often contains the name of the sender.
You will need like 70$ to do it though, but it is indeed worth it.
Step by step how to make your scammed characters legit:

1. Go buy a wow cdkey and tbc cdkey.
2. Write down your scammed accounts name and pw.
3. Go to the world of warcraft official home page.
4. Click on the "Try wow 10 days for free!"
5. Register the account using the owners last name.
Remember saving all the info of the account, even if you just type random stuff.
6. Log on to the scammed account on the wow webpage.
7. Go to payed character transfer.
8. Select the characters you want to transfer, and click the checkbox to copy it to your account. Try the trial account you made.
9. If nothing happens, you have the right last name.

If a red box pops up, you have the wrong last name. Either try a finding a new account or try finding the real last name of the account.

10. So, if you got the right last name, log out.
11. Log into your trial account.
12. Make your account retail by entering the key you bought.
13. Make your account TBC by entering the tbc key you bought.
14. Log out.
15. Log in to the scammed account (on webpage).
16. Go to payed character transfer.
17. Select the character you want to transfer.
18. Check the box to transfer to another account and fill in your new account.
19. Go to the next step. Here you will need to enter the secret answer on your account.
20. Go to next step, you will need to enter visacard/other card info here.
21. Complete! It will take around 10 minutes for the character to be approved for transfer.
22. Go to the character transfer status on the scammed account. If it's done, click the copy button. You will need to enter the 3 numbers on the back of your card.
23. Done! You now have the (legit!) character on your account.

You could also make a character on the target realm with the same name as the scammed character. Then you can choose a new name when it's transferred.

You left out the part where you need a credit card to do the transfer and than blizzard has all your personal information so that when the original owner calls in about his account blizzard comes after you. Fail.

I know that they send mail, but the risk is small that the owner will look in their mail during the transfer.

I did not leave out the part where it says you need your credit card.
And what you mean with "blizzard will come after you."? You mean they take you to court? I highly doubt that.

They wont take you to court. They'll have they're lawyers contact you about fraud. Also you can check in transactions what account name the character got transfered to. I once had someone do this to me and blizzard investigated it and reversed the transfer.

i can verify this as working, because i have used this method to keep scammed accounts for a good 6 months now.

unfortunately they changed the US worldofwarcraft.com website so you cannot upgrade trial accounts to full accounts with a credit card

if you dont want to use a credit card you can always go buy a visa giftcard that works for everything.

There is a good site wich i used for my first account, it's randomly generated credit card numbers, works perfectly on wow accounts. (note that it is NOT real credit card numbers and can't be used to purchase anything) If anyone is interested I can try to find it again.


Edit: found it, it worked ~8 months ago but i can't say to a 100% that it still works.
