It's amazing how trully gullable people really are.!

I decided to try something out..

I created a website with a genuine domain of Wowcrafteurope .org or similar.. {There are a few still not registered by blizz}

Then put the fake login page from here {Sorry can't remember exactly who's but Full credit to them 10/10 top marks}

I then made a simple video with some scrolling text just saying about a secret 'backdoor' that GM's use to login with.

with the url of the login screen..included.

Then posted it on youtube.

And waited...

Within 2 Days I had ammased 20 EU acocunt name/passwords and about 15 US ones!!!!

And without sending out a single email!!

I then closed the youtube account and disabled the website...

I'm still amazed how many people entered their genuine details into it..

I also ended up with about 90/100 fake ones.. hehe

But the ratio was well worth it..

I've leeched for too long so I thought I would share my story with you all..

And hopefully give a little respect back instead of just taking from you all..

no good if they were all 1 - 10

A full range of levels..

a third of them had at least one lvl 70 and one had 3 lvl 70's and a few 60ish

so was well happy!!!

but of course I've no email, sc or answer so can't do much with them

So working on stage 2.. Watch this space...

Since you shut down the website, how about holding some game and give away/rent the website so another can continue on with it until you need it again?
