Possible Account Scam

Okay, I'm going to attempt to post something up here seeing as I never contribute anything to the site.

First off, you'll need an account that you want so go to MarkeeDragon.com.
Once you find one, get their email and what not, and now I'm going to coincide two of the previous account scams I'd seen and thought may work better if you use this.

It runs along the lines of impersonation of Blizzard so if you're caught and are in trouble I take no responsibility if it works.

Send them an email that's convincing and EXTREMELY Gramatically correct informing them of possible account closure if they don't respond immediately to the email due to, say, recent usage of a selling, buying, or trading site, and you need their current account information to verify whether or not they are the actual owner of the account. (I believe an already typed Blizzard impersonation saying something about possible account closure can be found in some of the previous account scam threads)

Instead of using an email from Hotmail or Yahoo or some other unconvincing website you've seen some people use for scamming, send via Email As Anyone - Send an email to anyone, FROM anyone, anonymously!.

I believe, once the email is sent, it says something to the effect of [yournamehere]@nomails.com, something like that.

I give credit to whoever found the email-as-anyone.com site, but I couldn't find the thread and I didn't feel like sifting through tons of threads to find it.

Be a bit humorous at the end however, say something like "As a company of many employees we already get plenty of e-mails daily stating bugs and other exploits that need fixing, when you respond we may not get back to you immediately because we are using an automated messaging system. (Hence the email [email protected]). Thank you very much for your time."

Now I have yet to test this out or see if there are any fatal flaws in it, but I think that it could possibly work.

Let me know what you think and what I can do to improve this scam.

* Phone number Daytime
* Country
* Account e-mail
* CD-key, alternative a photograph of your CD-key that is located on your
manual for World of Warcraft.
* Account name
* Account password
* Secret Question and Answer


If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently.
We ask you to NOT change password until the investigation is fully
completed.
