Scam people with armor trick

What you will need:

• armor that needs to be attached by a high level e.g. Clefthide Leg Armor (preferably bought at a low price to make it easier)
• a high level to attach the armor
• an item that you do not mind loosing
• advisable to level a charcter up to around a twink level (19) so it appears more believable

Ok lets start with how you do it:

Find the high level to attach the armor to your item, give them the item and armor but when you do this say give me some money as compensation so i know that you wont scam me. Ask for a bit more gold than you bought the armor for and then run! They now have the leg armor item and are minus all that gold they just gave you as compensation.

As an example if it's still confusing:
You: hi can you put this Clefthide Leg Armor on my Dark Leather Pants please
High level: sure just trade them
You: yeah about that, as i have been scammed before so i can trust you can i have some gold that i will give back to you after the trade, just enough to cover the costs incase you do decide to scam me:P
High Level: loll sure, i wouldnt try scam you though so i have no problem with that.

Note: Say you bought some armor for 60g tell the high level: " I bought the armor for 80g so can I have that much as thats how much I paid for it, you'll get it back once you've added the armor"

Links for the item armor enchantments

• Nethercleft Leg Armor - Good for rogue twinks (requires Cenarion Expedition Exalted, so will help to gain larger profits)
  
• Nethercobra Leg Armor - Good for rogue/warrior twinks
  
• Felsteel Shield Spike - Good for warrior twinks
  
• Clefthide Leg Armor - Good for rogue twinks (most common)

Basically I listed a few of the main item enchants that you can get with what class iIthink use them, I have specifically looked more into twinks so that you can start a low level character and use the excuse for wanting the item enchant that you are going to be a twink. This removes suspicions of a level 10 wanting a really expensive enchant and makes it more believable.

Remember the item you want to get the enchant on must be a BOE item:
e.g. Dark Leather Pants - Any leather class of twinks would use this item to get an enchant and these can be picked up easily for under 1g from a leatherworker 140+ (have a leatherworker character to make them for you so you will save money using your own materials instead of buying from auction house.) These are currently the best trousers item avilable for the 10-19 leather twinks.

Sorry if this guide is a bit complicated etc, I tried to make it easy lol:P. I came up with this scam but i haven't tried it as I don't scam but I'm sure it should work. Just wanted to try make a contribution, hope it works. P.s. thanks Keytachi for some extra things

loll well as with any scam it needs a preety gullable/stupid victim but thanks for trying anyways, I'm sure someone will fall for it, it was just and idea really

Here's a few tricks:
1. Level a guy to lvl 19, so it looks like a twink
2. you can also use the Nethercleft Leg Armor which is epic and requires CE exalted (so it will bring you more money)
3. If you are a LW make your own Armors! its cheaper than buying them off the AH

hehe thanks I was just adding a section on the types of armor available as you posted but thanks for the help about the exalted thing I didn't know that, also I'll add about making your own armor and leveling the guy at the start aswell, thanks for ideas.

yeah u pick it up from the guy in Zangamarsh once exalted, can't remember the exact amount it costs though sorry, it's between 2-5 g so not much really but will help as you'll be able to get a bigger amount of the guy your scamming because of the higher 'risk' you are incurring.

wel i really dont know what to do, i have nothing else to contribute to this forum as like everything has alraedy been posted before, i could go round doing reposts of things but i see no point in that. i have had over 300 views and only 2 people have replied? it seems to be a vicous circle, i cant contribute because no one replies or tries the scams out i suggest but then because of that i cant search to check for previous topics if i do think of anything else to contribute. sorry for double post but i'm just at a loss right now i try to contribute with something original that i come up with and i get two replies and then theres people that just repost something thats been posed about 10 times this month and half the people that reply go '+rep thanks for the effort even though its a repost im sure it will help someone.' and when i come up with something original no one even bothers to try it out, i'm not even that bothered about the rep(although would be nice to get rid of leecher tag) i just put some effort into this, thinking about it and producing it and i want some people to try it out atleast to benefit some way for it otherwise i feel i've just wasted my time
